@undead
I'm not either honestly, but I'm still not sold on paying for a music service when google is giving away a cloud based system for free. It's cool for those that are into it, but I'm just not interested.
Well... you do have to input your cc info, a bold request from a company that just had millions of cc numbers compromised. I just got google music, which while it's nowhere near the same scope of 7 million songs, I can still upload my own for free.
Not necessarily, if you're a developer like he is, you may not want the burden of being forced into figuring out how to integrate a piece of hardware your game has no use for.
Actually, MS has gone on the record a few times now taking the piss out of PSN, they just did so in a very professional manner. This isn't a company though, this is one man expressing his opinions on his twitter account. He has every right to say what he feels.
Well, I do know I personally had to tell a few friends of mine that PSN had come back online, because they didn't use the e-mail they registered the account with, didn't play games online much, etc... So, that 10% likely isn't all people who have jumped ship.
cough*... (insert random off topic game developed by a completely different studio that isn't even in the same genre here) ... Cough*
Sony never once claimed Killzone would be the next halo, nor did they claim starhawk would. This article did.
@ Below, actually you are wrong. It was the media that marketed it has a halo killer, not sony. Just like the above comments, you take words said by the gaming media and put them in sony's mouth. here's the...
Have you played Starhawk? Didn't think so. Until you have, STFU.
Fanboy trying to say Sony is trying to have a Halo when it was actually a headline written by a gaming journalism website... That's sad.
Twice as strong as PS3 because the games are native 1080p (if they even are) doesn't make sense. Twice the resolution is one thing, but you also have to factor in how much geometry it can render per second, how well it can texture that geometry, how good it's shader effects will be in comparison to the other consoles, etc.. there are a lot of other factors that determine a system's overall power than just the resolution it runs at. None of the factors I mentioned even took CPU pow...
it's selling the least of the 3 home consoles worldwide right now.
360 has been dead last worldwide for months now zir0. NPD = USA only, but Major Nelson doesn't want you to know that.
This only makes me wonder why we're only seeing games that barely keep the pace with PS3. Either someone's full of crap or they're holding WAAAAAY back.
more importantly, where's YOUR proof that they DIDN'T have anything to do with Anonymous?
You obviously don't know much about how electronics work. An analog stick isn't going to kill batteries. Not enough for anyone to really notice. The screen, speakers, GPU, RAM, and CPU are the battery hogs. All the analog stick does is measure where the stick is oriented and sends a digital signal based upon that (yes, analog sticks in modern controllers really aren't "analog" at all. They still have to convert that analog signal to digital before the system can process ...
I never said Kinect couldn't enhance a hardcore gaming experience, but they're attempting to force it into something that it is not. It won't be Move, you won't be able to control the next halo using only it. They need to either stick to what kinect is good at (voice recognition, which all 3 systems are capable of actually, and then gesture controls, like signaling a squad for instance), augmenting games that are played with a traditional controller. That, or give up the "...
They really should just give up... Kinect can't be made into a hardcore gaming device without a controller add on.
The problem with this hacking epidemic is, it's giving the world governments all the ammo they need to scare the average person into letting them rape any form of net neutrality that still exists. They're going to be able to get their internet kill switches, enhanced internet monitoring, etc... just by saying cyber bin-laden is gonna get you if you don't let them.
They've been selling dead last worldwide for months now. PS3 had been on top until last week when Wii finally got a boost that put it ahead for the week. But MS is still sitting in third. They definitely have the market pressure to keep trying to reduce price and increase demand.
This combined chip will definitely allow them to reduce their costs. In fact, it'll probably give them an advantage to cut lower than PS3 could, which could prove to be an issue for Sony in ...
PSU got hacked... lol.
Plus, we all know how well hardcore games play on devices without buttons/joysticks...
