I think the author of this article forgets that since all PS3's come standard with a hard disc drive, data can be pre-loaded onto it or cached on it to decrease the hit from BD latency. If done properly, in certain cases it can also lead to less load times while playing the game itself than 360's DVD drive allows.
Rails are so fun! Ask Charlie Sheen!
um... every game console is chip based. every computer is as well. microchips control it all.
too bad for those who bought a 4GB or 20GB model... guess they gotta pay for an overpriced proprietary hard drive now unless they want to have to switch discs and deal with greater texture pop in.
Whether the game is patched or not, Move works with it just as well as if it had been made "from the ground up", because Move is a far more versatile controller than kinect is. Quit trying to spin an advantage into a disadvantage. Patched move games are among my favorite. I prefer move over DS3 in every game you listed. And LBP2 supported Move from the get-go, it's only being patched to enable move support in other ways such as creating your own move based games, which is going ...
it'd make for a killer bundle.
I just bought my second move, and still can't get enough of Sports Champions (I'm a big fan of disc golf, and the gladiator duel game really shows how much potential move has in action/fighting games.). I also prefer it over DS3 in both Killzone and MAG. However, I would like to see more genres support it other than sports and FPS. Tumble is a cool game as well actually, and I'm looking forward to child of eden also. The fight is also cool, despite it's flaws. A good rental at...
Why no?
1. Apple is notorious for being overpriced. Everything from their computers to their phones and tablets costs way too damn much.
2. The ipad doesn't have enough under the hood to satisfy the core gamer.
3. The core gamer likes to be able to hook a system up to their big screen and enjoy HD quality graphics, even 3D.
4. Last time I checked, ipad couldn't play blu-ray movies, didn't have any sort of online g...
No.
"How many PS Move games are specific to PS Move's own features? Stuff that can't be done on the Wii or be better on the present controller?"
Augmented reality games, even though there are only a couple on the market right now.

jedi powers will work fine with move, and you won't have to wait a half second to see them either. swordplay will be better with move, movement will be possible with move (no more on rails crap)... it's just better suited all around for move.
1080i runs at the same frame rate, however each frame is a half frame. Frame 1 will only have the even rows of horizontal pixels, frame 2 the odd. any motion between the frames will result in a stair stepping effect, which creates what we call interlace flicker (look at small text on a SDTV to see what I mean). at 1080i, you have 540 lines per field, at 60 fields per second. 720p gives you 720 lines at up to 60 frames per second, every frame is a whole frame (hence the "P", for prog...
releasing an incomplete handheld system (no browser, etc) before it's games are ready to go, that's a costly mistake. Ask Nintendo.
Of course, it's the only thing they have to rely on. Without that game, MS wouldn't be where they are today.
while I don't disagree that it needs move only games, I'm more than happy with move support as well, especially with the shooters. It really enhances them to me. Nothing like sniping and relying on my aim, not my ability to turn a joystick, to shoot.
I guess kinect is a bust also? it only has a couple million more sales, and an even worse looking game library.
Do you even know who Ted Price is? He works for Insomniac, who developed Resistance. Not Killzone. That could have simply been a mistake (thinking of Resistance, not KZ), or he was dodging the question. Either way, I never denied Sony lied about it at some point. I was just pointig out the fact that they didn't lie about it up front the way MS did, they didn't have a guy fake playing the damn game out in front of everyone. That is my point.
And HS, while there are ti...
yeah, but some take it to farther extremes than others do. Case in point:
Sony's E3 2005 Killzone demo:
They let it show not saying initially it was real time, though eventually their PR reps started to slip out hints that it was before GG finally revealed the truth about it. However... Unlike MS, they did not have a guy standing in front of the screen with a controller in his hand. Sony's wasn't even a lie at first, until their PR reps started sa...
4 games, one of which is a remake of a decades old game. Not much to look forward to when his other option gave him:
Infamous 2
Killzone 3
Journey
LBP2
MBL11 The Show
Motorstorm Apocalypse
No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise
Resistance 3
Socom 4
Yakuza 4
And since you're naming old remakes:
The Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection
God of War Origins
