If VR turns out to be a success, by the time Scorpio launches MS will be left in the dust, with Sony having millions of units out there already and as such the vast majority of the developer support (who wants to make games for a system with no install base?), so even if Scorpio ends up enjoying a (brief, until PS5 comes shortly after) hardware advantage, winning that battle won't win them the VR war. They'll be stuck trying to justify to devs why they should take the risk and develop...

I stand corrected, however the camera is only $60 and I've seen it some places cheaper than that, so even considering the mistake, hater still fails with their $500 lies... and no, I didn't try to "bundle the breakout box as an accessory", I was stating what was needed to make the unit work in its base configuration, as I clearly stated by preceding it with "all you need to get started with PSVR".

Kosic, gear VR isn't a solid VR platform due to low frame rates. That is why you are feeling dizzy. A smartphone wasn't made for VR. PSVR upscales all content, regardless of frame rate, to 120fps, and at least 60-90fps is required, with 90 being the recommended target.

Hater, guess we'll find out?

don't you love it when haters get their facts wrong? PSVR+Camera+Breakout Box = $400. That gets you playing in VR. The camera tracks DS4's light bar. For the games that require move controllers, you can pick those up for about $30 each.

The $400 kit comes with all you need to get started with PSVR (headset, camera, breakout box). Few games require the move controllers. Most track the light bar on the DS4. Some don't require a controller at all (like the street luge game). You can also get move controllers today for $30 each, so at the most you're paying $460. Also, the vast majority of the previews/demo reviews of PSVR titles have been positive. Troll fail.

Guy who never played the game is glad he didn't play the game because some people said it wasn't good... Don't hate, go troll somewhere else.

I did buy the game, and I did play it, and while I do have my disappointments with it, I do not regret the purchase at all. I see that this game can grow into a platform much like Minecraft and Destiny did. Driveclub sucked when it launched as well, then went on to become one of the best arcade racers ever in a few short ...

"Hey guys, you want to know about Neo? Well tough, cause no one knows anything. So since you're here anyhow here's a bunch of random speculation that's just as informative as the discussion you might have around the water cooler!"

.... Bam, instant 900 degrees on N4G. You either can either post speculation about some hot upcoming system behind a headline that suggests there might be new info, or post some article about nudity in a game and wait for the...

This game was far ahead of its time.

I'm willing to give them time to add content, but I have reached a point where I just can't play it anymore. The few tasks that are there to do have been worn out long ago. Last night I jumped into a game. Flew around in space for a bit and realized I needed to fix my warp drive. Got into a predictable space battle (1.07 did make space fighting WAY better, your ship turns more quickly now and enemies don't just fly straight towards you as soon as your first laser/bullet hits them,...

So, David, what do you think about the game?

"Mah-na-ma-nah, nama-nom-a-noma-noma-noma-na. Oooh wa-a-a-a! Augh! Augh!"

Did you beat the game?

"I had to stop playing because I wasn't a good boy and mommy beat me. Why does she always have to be such a bitch?"

There are some games that perform better on Xbox One S without the need for patches, so it is possible to get better frame rates, but don't count on higher resolution, better lighting, etc. without a patch. Also don't count on better frame rates on games that already are locked at 30fps, unless it didn't hold a stable 30 to begin with.

How did this get approved?

Internal storage will probably only be for OS, game saves, and maybe some cache to make loading and streaming faster. I imagine the game cartridges will be where they end up being stored, not locally on the machine. I'm sure it'll have expandable memory also.

900 vs. 1080 is indeed noticeable, especially on larger TVs. It isn't just 180 extra pixels.

A movie theater isn't going to refund your ticket because you thought the ending sucked. Get over yourself.

PS3 had double the FLOPS of 360... but nowhere near double the actual performance. Scorpio doesn't even have double the flops of Neo, so depending on architecture the difference could be even smaller, or they could throw some dumb bottleneck into Scorpio's design like ESRAM again and completely negate any advantage Scorpio would have over Neo, but we'll see when both systems are revealed.

It's also worth noting that by early 2018, we'll probably be hear...

This is taking fanboyism to a sadly desperate and pathetic level. PS4 will be the best version of the game when the game launches, and for a long time after. If you have both systems, or are about to buy one or the other system, the PS4 version would be the one to get. If the game were released for Scorpio (just putting an Xbox One game into Scorpio isn't going to automatically upgrade it without a patch, and we don't know if Square Enix is going to bother to release a patch for a gam...
