Have you ever heard of something called Moore's Law? ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... ), well, as it turns out you can be certain that the Cell processor won't be so hot by the time the next iterations of the game consoles are due for release, so I wouldn't glorify it that much.
While I think wii in 720p would be really cool, I just don't think that would be enough to stop all the negative comments.

I think everyone agrees that the wii can do GTA up to before 4; yet people keep calling the idea dumb because it wouldn't look as good. I wonder if that means that their current versions of the game are crap too since they aren't as good as GTA4?

I hope this game is as good as RE4. That game was a lot of fun to play since I had never played it before.
They should do RE2, that was the first RE game I ever played and it would be neat to see that game on the wii, with these graphics. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Especially when the 360 and PS3 are running graphics hardware that is inferior to the 8800 series video cards from nVidia (read: already a generation behind).
I mean come on, when I see those consoles running a game with real time 16X anti-aliasing (for starters) then we can talk, but until then, they are too running on last-gen hardware.

The same thing could be said about the PS3 when compared to a PC. As nice as the PS3 is, it just doesn't have the graphics quality you can get from a PC. I mean, one of my video cards (yes I do run SLI) is worth more than a PS3, so in essence, the PS3 is a toy.
You see where I am going with this? If I drive a Ferrari, then your parent's Camry/Accord is nothing but a toy... It is all relative...
