I think you sir are incorrect for believing that everyone who buys a wii only plays with it for a month. Good thing you don't want one, because you wont find one anyway... Now if you wanted an XBox or a PS3, they always have tons of those everywhere...
Fanboys please, get it through your heads. People who buy the wii play it, buy games for it, and developers are making successful games for it.
While it is true that I had a GC before (now in storage never to come out again...) I do play wii, and buy wii games. 20 and counting for me ;)

There are so many games to choose from, I don't know what that guy is talking about. Just because I don't know anyone who owns a PS3, let alone play it doesn't mean it isn't being sold, or played with.

It only needs to sell more than the PS3 and 360 to prove its point. Horsepower is nothing if the content isn't there.

I think Nintendo is cool. They always bring innovation to the gaming industry, and hopefully they always will. Just look at what they are doing with the "underpowered" hardware they are selling right now. They are proving that you don't need the most horsepower to be original, just like you don't need to be the tallest guy to be the best basketball player.
Just take a little time to think what Nintendo will come up...
People are disagreeing with you because you seem to believe the wii has no full feature games ("Last gen and minigames don't cut it for me").
Zelda: TP, and RE4 are not minigames.
Also, if you want the best experience, why are you playing games on a console? I play my "next gen" games on my PC for best results.

I have yet to see anyone swinging their arms like that when playing wii. Only those who have don't own one and have never played one can make these claims about how they "don't want to be waiving their arms around."

I got a wireless router when I bought my wii, just so that I could connect it to the internet and get updates, and etc. Now my friends bring their laptops and can share internet access when they come to visit.
