How do you know MGS4 will be perfection when it isn't out yet?
I have never played any of the MGS's but regardless, how is it possible to make such a claim without playing and completing the game?
I am sure that shooter fans won't mind having the precision you get from a pointing device when playing Halo, Gears, or other games that may take advantage of the new motion sensing device. I mean, this would put them in the same playing field as PC gamers!
Don't expect Nintendo-like success though. The "hardcore" fans have been rejecting motion controllers for a long time, so it might take some time for this to fly on the 360. That is unless they reject motion sensing ...
Because it has nothing to do with maybe, just maybe making exercise fun right?
It is a video game, not an exercise plan. If you see it as the later then that is your fault.
It's the parent's fault for not keeping an eye on the kid's diet.
Put the kid in some sort of team sport, restrict video games to maybe one hour per day. There are many ways to keep your children in good physical condition, and feeding them McDonald's on a regular basis is not one of them.
Shame on the parents.
Agreed, but I don't see those sport game fanatics playing sports instead of video games, or war game fanatics enlisting in the army instead.
Wii-Fit never claimed to be your only source of exercise, it is a game about exercising. Miyamoto himself suggested that people should go out and exercise more so there.
So get a grip, if you don't like it, do the one thing you can do: DON'T BUY IT!!!
Great game, but not for wii...
Wii has no good games...
Wii is for kids...
Come on, make up your mind already!!!
Nice looking game, I think I will pick it up when it comes out.
I don't like voice chat because people tend to utter silliness out of their mouths... and I do find it interesting that you would consider a game like GTA4 to be challenging to your brain... interesting... Had you said something like FF, or some puzzle based game and then I would have agreed, but GTA? Really?
And why would you assume that I don't know what I am doing while playing online? Too bad that PC and PS3 gamers can't play together, it would be fun, actually no. Take that ...
"but the game play experience is so simple minded and repetitive the games get old real fast"
And what games on a PS3 don't? Don't tell me button mashing is better because then I will have to tell you that keyboard and mouse is better (which it is, and it is far more accurate to boot). While the online experience offered in some games in the other consoles is better than the online experience of some wii games, the same could be said when you compare their online experi...
"when the next system nintendo makes comes out, the wii2 or what ever its called, will it have better graphics? now think about that for a second..."
Actually, there is no need to think about it. Nintendo themselves said their next system will have better graphics. Part of the reason they didn't go HD this time is because they wanted to wait for HD to become truly mainstream...
"people with simple mario vocabulary that dont have a job to afford a real ...
Well, I have a PC with two 8800GTX overclocked and running on SLI, so the wii isn't a "cheap alternative", it is my console of choice.
I am afraid you are the one who is immature for not even taking into consideration the fact that there are some people who actually choose to get this system over the 360 or PS3 (like me). I mean, why would I even get one of those when my PC will spank them any day?
Clearly the wii isn't about graphics, so it is about gamepl...
Now you have ruined the ending of KH2 for me!!! (I am hoping it gets ported to the wii sometime so that I can play it. Like Okami)
You are right, without those pretty effects the game is completely ruined for wii owners...
Much like it is for PS3 owners because the game wont do 16X anti-aliasing, 16X anisotropic filtering, all the texturing and whatnot that you could get on a PC...
So you are right, the game is ruined for everyone. Gameplay is not even a factor that should be taken into consideration here...
...geez...
Hannah Montana...
Man you have made me laugh! You get bubbles...
"standing and moving your arms and body can be jarring for something like Zelda or Mario"
Really? you actually stood up to play those two games? I have never slouched as much as I did when I played Zelda. I was brilliant! I had my left hand (nunchuck) resting on the couch's arm, and I would rest my head on my left hand, and my right hand would be on my hip barely ever pointing at the screen, unless I had to shoot arrows and/or use the boomerang, so please forgive me for...
I honestly don't see how you would rather play Zelda with conventional controllers after playing it with the wiimote. I found using the wiimote/nunchuck combination to be far more comfortable (since my hands didn't need to be in close proximity of eachother) and let's not even mention shooting arrows!!!
The only thing I didn't like about using the new wii controller was not having the same camera control as I did on the Wind Waker, but other than that, I just don't see how playin...
"the cheapest. Waht do you expect."
That is your statement, so when people tell you the difference is negligible (thus taking oomph from your statement) you claim they don't understand business?
I think it proves that it isn't about the cost of the console alone, which no doubt does have some impact, but it clearly shows that the wii does appeal to a greater number of people.
I see what you mean there. There I was thinking you were talking about the consoles available right now.
I am not sure about what the sales numbers for past Nintendo consoles are, but I would agree with you there. If they can sell more consoles with the wii than all consoles they have sold in the past, that would be a great achievement.
One thing to consider, I think Nintendo will never achieve the same percentage of the market it owned in the past simply because the...
Because it sells so good... ;)
Uh, have you seen how many wii games get sold worldwide every week/month? if not, you should, just for fun...
There is no reason for the next Zelda not to have physics, the wii is perfectly capable of delivering. Also if you think about it, Ocarina is still a super fun game to play, even if the graphics aren't the best. I still find that it has that "something" about it that makes it truly special. Twilight Princess was awesome, but it didn't make me forget about Ocarina.
I think Nintendo should release another Zelda for the wii. Something that will take the wii to the limits i...
