Cool update. It will take a while to get used to it though.
What was that lawman? They look "RETARTED"?
Why ruin a drinking game with American beer?
One of the reasons I didn't like Bioshock was the zero consequence for dying.
In multiplayer games I never really liked the respawn system either. It throws strategy out the window.
This is one of the few 360 games I am looking forward to. I'd be glad to see it on the PS3.
I don't believe rumours any more, so I won't believe this until it is official. I doubt it is true, but we'll have to wait and see.
I usually lean towards the PS3. I'm sure some people would call me a "fanboy" around here, or whatever the new catch phrase is, but I doubt those people could say they own both a PS3 and 360. Heck, I've even played a lot of the wii, sadly. I will also probably end up getting one for Smash Brothers.
With that out of the way, Haze does nothing for me. There is just something that is lacking in the design. It almost seems like they tried to rip halo off in some regards. ...
It could just be a texture issue. The large shadow line cutting across the area vertically doesn't seem affected. Since the large shadow cuts across multiple textures you can almost assume it is being rendered in game. The dark spots on the texture are more than likely baked and that is why they are affected by this misplacement.
I doubt that it is tearing since only that one texture seems affected. It was probably the texture artist patching up a texture, and forgot to clone s...
The source doesn't matter, it's a 360 story. They will believe anything.
I hope they don't ruin this game, and I hope the maps are bigger with more players. I'm still playing the first one, since I don't like halo that is about all I play on the 360, really.
"How do you play a team game without a mic? Answer me that!"
How do you play a team game without access to the internet? (And don't say locally, because a mic is useless in that case also)
Microsoft feels they should charge you for playing online, they basically charge you for something you are already paying someone else for. Should we whine that you have to buy a headphone separately for the PS3? Especially when a lot of people don't intend on using i...
"The 360 was our lead SKU, we ported everything over to the PS3."
All of a sudden 2% seems about right, doesn't it?
Why waste more money they will never make back? You have to draw a line somewhere.
Speaking of denial...
Oh please FirstknighT, the closest you have come to a PS2 is probably that Sony poster in your closet.
"I wonder if half of the people buying a PS3 are using it only as a blu-ray player... the same with the wii.."
Looking at the Wii target audience I wouldn't be surprised if they bought the Wii for the "blu-ray player". lol
I don't feel like upgrading back to XP again. I'll skip it.
"Xbox 360 is successful due to Xtards. You can tell because nobody in their right mind would buy that exploding pos"
This isn't an xtard, this is far worse. It seems like a complete microshaft. It takes a terrible case of the microshaft to defend the zune.
That introduction paragraph has made me realize something. 2008 is going to be a year that PS3 titles are going to battle amongst themselves. Besides Smash Brothers, there really is no other great competition out there for these top games. The second and third year of the PS3 will be the benchmark for every console to attempt to match in the future.
No surprise here. It all started with the retarded MGS4 rumours. Now every single game is rumoured to go to some other console. Give it a break.
Another thing that is off lately are all the false release dates going around for some games. A few months later everyone thinks the game was delayed. Give it a rest.
"the ps3 still havin Problems with that engine huh...hmmmmm'
You do understand that video games aren't made in a day, right?
Like the article mentions, they were having issues before the PS3 release. That is about the same time as those other few developers. Saying the PS3 is "still havin" problems is just not true. UT3 (the game) is proof that the engine is finalized for PS3 production. If a developer was too incompetent to take an engine that was...
That is the risk of adopting new technology early, sadly. There are no guarantees in this industry.
