The xbot desperation for this game is by far the greatest example of true fanboyism. This was sad after about the third rumour. Now it is beyond pathetic.
Get it through your skulls, no MGS4 for you. Add it to the list.
Yeah Gears of War 2 would be awesome in 2008, but can you really call it an addition? Wouldn't you need at least another quality title to refer to it in that way?
It tricked you into watching a trailer for their crappy game...
I wonder if they will use it to cook dinner on?
This is a sad contribution to the website. Go to youtube to post such trivial things.
"If you’re into good game play as much as I am, you should forget about this one."
"But the game play is so flawed that it’s just not worth it to finish it."
"This feels like you’re playing a game from the 1930s. And yes, I know they didn’t have video games in the 1930s."
At least the hype settled. If only 360 publishers spent less time on marketing, and more time on making their games playable.
The funn...
Elena is pretty kickass. I agree you can't carry over all characters, but they have ditched some characters that they shouldn't have.
Especially since a lot of their replacements weren't nearly as good, and in some cases were bad copies of who they were replacing.
I've been playing a lot of 3rd strike recently. I hope they don't screw things up. They must bring back all the original characters. That's something I didn't like from 3rd strike. No Guile, Sagat, Balrog or Dhalsim? What were they thinking?
I also think that is why many people are stuck constantly picking Ryu or Ken. You can't get attached to the "new" characters because there is a good chance they won't be in the next one. Which means your experience doesn't carry o...
I don't even have to read this to figure out Destructoid picked a 360 game. They are biased to the point of predictability. Just like Kotaku will probably pick a Wii game. Gamespot will probably pick whoever paid the most.
It looks like it has potential.
Sorry fanboys. Statistics and the word "about" just don't mix. VGChartz continues to be one of the biggest jokes in the industry.
You must be retarded or illiterate.
Call of Duty 4, and Rock Band are both PS3 games. Stop going by the images, and actually read the text. They also failed to list Orange Box as a PS3 title, probably because of how "bias" they are.
But everyone knows Orange Box PC is game of the year. GameSpot continues to suck the big one.
This is hilarious. All the xbots whining about how rumble should have been available at launch for the PS3, and how sony fans got screwed. I bet those will be the same people praising this move by Microsoft.
There is a big difference though. Rumble had no input into games, but this will. Talk about ripping off a trend. I forgot, it's okay when Microsoft repeatedly does it.
I'll approve it, but I personally found it to be a pretty lame video.
Dante in DMC4 doesn't seem any where near as bad ass as he was in DMC3. I don't think this game can come close to DMC3.
It's pretty even. Both versions look a bit dark in certain places, but I think everyone will be happy for once. I guess the exception being the extreme fanboys (Icewake, I'm not naming names).
I wonder how the 360 will fair with their control scheme? This franchise was shaped for the playstation controllers. It should be interesting.
Great review. The full version is going to be insanely amazing.
I'm not surprised the least bit, actually.
I bet Sony is smiling somewhere. All three of their products (including the almost 8 year old PS2) is trumping the 360 yet again in Japan.
"sony sent out a lil booklet telling them how to review it."
maybe they should copy the Microsoft tactic of sending an envelope of money reminding them how to review their games.
Besides if you read most of the reviews now a days, it seems a booklet might help. They are beyond retarded, and you still look up to them.
Why bother, if your customers actually defend being screwed, and announce to the world through any and every means necessary how much they enjoy it?
