The obvious choice is Motorstorm, but I do hope it is Twisted Metal. The music did seem a little odd.. almost like an ice cream truck... lol

Look at his comment history, if he has Gears of War 2 he is no where near attached to it as this website.

In the last 8 days this guy has made 260 comments, and is usually one of the first in any PS3 article. Get a life man, and for your own good go out and finally get laid. Trust me, you won't be on this site for countless hours once you do.

I suggest you play the game before making comments about gameplay.

Gears' cover system worked in multi-player because you usually fought in 1-on-1 or 2-on-1 battles. Not to mention it is a TPS game.

Killzone 2 has way too much going on at a time. You need to always worry about being shot in the back. It is also a freaking FPS game. In Gears despite being in cover you could still have an easy view because of the camera location. It was very unrealistic since there was...

I agree Halo will not be on the PS3, but what is this crappy site?

The guy can't even spell "there". He got it wrong twice.

Here is a quote:
"So their you have it, of course this doesn’t necessarily mean Bungie won’t go multiplatform, their could be something we missed completely. All we can say is until that day, get your facts straight!"

Is this "writer" 14? Get your spelling straight!

I wonder how Bungie feels about Microsoft taking their ideas and whoring it out to a bunch of other developers to make up for a lack of quality titles on their platform? If I was Bungie I would definitely not allow Microsoft to get their greedy hands on any of my future games. Sure I'd release on their platform, but they wouldn't own it. You also have to think that Bungie want to get away from Halo. There has been nearly zero innovation since the first game and they are just stuck in their tr...

Of course Gears 2 will have good sales. It's the only 360 game worth buying since Gears 1. You have a bunch of depressed fanboys like yourself foaming at the mouth to finally buy a game.

As for the PS3, it is floating in triple A games. Of course the sales will be distributed between multiple titles, that is what happens when the customer has a choice.

Now mindlessly purchase Gears 2 and wait for the next Halo.

If you are referring to the one frame rate issue in the video, if you noticed the PS3 user quickly spun around when getting in the level and the 360 user didn't move at all. Obviously spinning quickly when getting in a level will cause the frame rate to fall it is common sense.

For some reason the PS3 user was moving a lot quicker than the 360 user. Hey was also get a lot closer to surfaces.

I don't know why during the comparison they had the player moving through di...

What lag? I remember the gold ol' Gears 1 days, now that was lag. Every match it was common to have your character just freeze in place for a while. Then you would get booted at the most inappropriate times. Using the same connection for PSN, I've seen no such lag issues. It's been incredibly smooth and free.

A long time ago while quickly screwing around in Photoshop, I made up a Killzone 2 cover art of my own. You can see it attached.

Obviously if I had more time a lot of things could have been tweaked.

Edit: For some reason I can't attach an image, so you can see it here: http://img.photobucket.com/...

Hey Microslave, you might want to try a harder difficulty passed easy.

FF versus 13 should be mentioned also. That game is going to redefine FF.

I'm also interested in Twisted Metal and many others.

It's actually 7 Months not "more than 8 months":
April
May
June
July
August
September
October

You can't count March, since MS submitted sales figures for that month and fiscal year (ending in March). It doesn't disprove what you are saying, but that needed to be corrected. The truth is this is a bad year for Microsoft, they don't nearly have the software support they had last year. Having a blackout of sales figures was...

"You dont down grade a score for a little texture pop in, you down grade scores for things that really hurt the gaming experience or make the game unplayable on some level.(framerate issues, cripling online issues) The GTA example was horrible, this guys is an idiot."

The GTA 4 version on the 360 was significantly worse. It wasn't just texture popins, it was mesh popins. Things would pop up ahead of you out of the blue with no means to avoid it. That makes it very muc...

This is an old image. I've seen it at least a few months ago. It was on the concept artists site. In fact it was from a topic posted on N4G.

I agree with you 100% Kleptic. Too bad the "bots" won't respond to any intelligent comments like the one you just made.

They would probably mention Alan Wake, a game that has pretty much disappeared. A game that is looking to take the flop crown from Too Human. The visuals of Alan Wake piss me off as a 3D artist. It is like taking a picture of a house and placing it as a texture on a cube and pretending it is realistic because it is a picture of a real house. The geomet...

I bet you will have a hard time finding a PC without a hard drive.

PC games are almost always installed to the hard drive first because of major compression applied to the game that can't be uncompressed in real-time. That is where the 360 once again fails, no standard hard drives = no standard installs. Installs also take the disc drive speeds out of the question. Dual layer DVDs tend to get real slow on the second layer. Not to mention a lot of PCs you will find in a store now-...

"I'm confused, I though my 360 was going to disappear in a flame of death when I put my MGS4 disc in my PS3. I guess it's Heavy Rain now, a game I can't wait to see or play for that matter."

Did you try turning it on? There is a pretty high chance that your 360 will disappear into a flame of RRO-Death whenever you turn it on.

"Hmm does Microsoft even have any exclusive games left?"

Not really, you can get most of the 360 games on the PC eventually. Would you consider Too Human to be an exclusive game? I don't know if it is proper to call something that is "unplayable" a game...

I've done a lot of game testing in my past. If these are the biggest glitches left at this stage they have done a killer job. I've seen about ten games go through the development process and there were much bigger issues that were forced to slip through. If given enough time you can find glitches in every game. There is no exact formula to testing, half the time you just do random crud and hope to find something.

The worst part is that after testing for a while you start to almos...
