If you add up all that in-game footage you get about 85 hours or so. (Not an actual calculation, just an estimate)
Why would there be so many videos for "in game footage" included?
Our last game we sent off for an ESRB rating didn't require a playthrough. In fact they wanted the videos to be kept as short as possible. Granted, we aren't Konami.
They wanted things like:
- A video of each sniper rifle in use (shoot enemy, zoom in and out, reload, bullet cam)
- A video of each pistol in use (shoot enemy, reload)
- A video of each assault rifle in use (shoot enemy, reload)
- A video of player using the knife to kill
- A video o...
That title should be adjusted to: "MGS4 - Inside the Biggest Game of '08"
"I am a little concern that perhaps it is going to try to please everyone and in the end please no one but it is possible to make a game that satisfies a number of people with different playing styles"
If this is the end of Solid Snake I hope that it doesn't take the Halo 3 approach to an ending, one that satisfies absolutely no one.
I still play Third Strike a heck of a lot. Mortal Kombat... not so much. This would be a pretty sweet game.
I hope Live can work with all this pressure without going down or suffering with the usual lag. Christmas was pretty bad.
Capcom proves once again that their quality control is flawless.
"Did I just own you? ;)"
It sure looks that way.
Since when has the lifespan of a 360 passed a year?
I had to say it...
Speaking of fail:

It's nice when people own themselves.
Remember the good ol' days where instead of unlocking a small piece of text, you would actually unlock game content? You know, the stuff people actually care about?
Some titles have done it recently with some success. Uncharted, God of War, to name a few.
I was hoping to continue with Kai. Her gameplay moments were sometimes the best part of the game. I thought she was a lot more original than Nariko. If this is true it is a shame.
I do hope HS2 is in production. The story was great in the first one.

With a decent PC like that there is no point in buying a 360 to begin with.
Any "exclusive" worth getting for the 360 is on the PC as well.
It's funny how all those people whining about the PS3 installation on a few games, are mostly all in favour of digital downloads.
Do you know how much space and time it would take to download a HiDef movie?
It was a machine gun. The aim is less important when you are just firing wildly. It was also quicker to kill a guy with the chainsaw, than the machinegun.
The shotgun on the other hand would beat both.
My favourite part about Gears is how you spawn with two wicked weapons in multi-player.
It would be cool if they had some sixaxis action going on. lol
Imagine actually moving the controller to kill a guy with the chainsaw, that would be pretty sweet. Especially in a battle like this.
I hope it doesn't come down to button mashing. That will get boring fast.
I agree with toughName here.
The beauty of the chainsaw was always killing a guy without him knowing you were coming. My best Gears game ever was when I was the last remaining guy on my team and I snuck up to every member of the other team and ripped their arses to pieces.
You can't counter a chainsaw attack if he gets you from the back, and if it is a face to face confrontation I would probably switch to the shotgun before you even got close to me. I think most peop...
Hypocrites. The majority of you who feel so outraged over this install, are the same that support digital downloads. Get over yourselves.
That's odd, I haven't found Live to be stable at all lately. Have you ever used PSN?
