Sorry 360 fanboys. We all know you are dying to play Metal Gear Solid 4, but you are just going to have to come to terms with the fact that the 360 will not get MGS4, and unless you want to miss out on the greatest shooter in years, you will need to get the PS3.

I have to agree with the comment on the controller. At work we play Street Fighter 3 on a PC emulator, with 360 controllers. The D-Pad is unplayable, and the thumbstick doesn't understand quick transitions between various movement directions very well. The thumbstick on one of the controllers is already getting loose. I brought in my Logitech controller for a week and owned everyone.

At the end of the day buying two versions to have an easy, highly supported system in place to create content for a console system is an incredible deal. You might not know the costs of getting tools to create a console game, but trust me they are high. Even a random video game fan who isn't in the industry (working at best buy doesn't count) can appreciate this, so leave your fanboyism out of this.

Gears was a good looking game. The lighting in Killzone is the best lighting I've seen in any game. There's no clear winner, especially when you consider the superior PC version of Gears.

There are some terrible issue with the PC version. Mine would keep crashing 5 seconds into any cinematic. The forums are flooded with complaints.
I had to find a work around that involved beta patches and configuring some files that the average gamer shouldn't be touching. It sucks that the Nvidia "The way it's meant to be played" ad is at the start, and I couldn't play it out of the box with a Nvidia card.
