Good luck with that when high end PC's struggle with games as poorly optimised as Crysis 3, lucky to get 40fps at 1080P.
Console would never do it.
Well Black and White was a great game, i played it a lot on PC at the time.. now? i haven't heard anything great about Lionhead studios.
Xbox One is becoming more like PC, which is pointless because if you already have a good one then it's better than the Xbox - Reason : Games are always cheaper, no monthly sub bs, it can do a ton more than the Xbox.
Sony have a good chance of gaining a lot of ground with the PS4 if they can get around making people pay to play used games. Nintendo will also be selling Wii U's much more, especially once a few great games come out.
The only interest i h...
Mario & Sonic Team: All Stars Racing? hmm.. nah.
Whatever the 3 games are, hopefully they are good. A new game that's very similar to SA2 would be nice, as long as it aint like Sonic Heroes..
The Sonic Rush games were really good on DS, and the boss fights were actually challenging, unlike most of the Mario games.
They won't die.. it's not like Xbox is the only console with games, there's 3DS, Vita, Wii U as well as the PS3 and 360. Now it just depends what happens with PS4.
Plus PS4 will more than likely have far more appealing games than Xbox will, Xbox mainly has just multiplats anyway.
I think you mean a box of donuts.
Microsoft also don't have any games to release apart from yet more sequels to boring games.
Only tempter for me would be Banjo or Conker of N64 time quality, not likely to happen.. I think anyone looking to fill the gap of similar games to those would be better off with a Wii U and a PS4.
Crysis argument sucks, the game ran like crap on release, only 2 years later it was playable at 60+fps on newer graphics cards. I like games with good graphics that at optimized well but some take the piss with how bad they run on high end cards.
Pretty sure 30-40fps was the best you could get on Crysis when it came out, too low a frame rate considering that was average/max and not even minimum.
Give me a game with good graphics and great gameplay over bett...
Like you can already have 200 players on San Andreas multiplayer mod.. and the popular servers have that many often, but is nowhere near as restricted as IV.
I hope R* let us have at least 64+player online with V or it will be a poor show like IV.
Lots of fanboys said it'd run games at 4k but it was obvious to those with decent knowledge of hardware that it wouldn't.
on PC you still need high end cards for 1080p and 60fps, nevermind higher. Besides you add 2 cards and it defeats the purpose of high fps since you'd get micro stutter.
120fps is smoother than 60, i got a 120hz monitor last year and if you get higher than 60 there is no need for vsync because there is little/no tearing when you get high fps.
Only issue is power, when we get games on release like Crysis, Obivion, Age of Conan etc.. that run poorly even on high end setups @ 1080p you are lucky to get 30 - 40fps which is pretty sad. It's hard to get a constant 60+ on some games, unless gpu power makes a big leap we won't be seeing games...
Well i've had a 5870 graphics card since launch in late 2009 and apparently it's 1.5 Tflops, so even though it's 3 and a half years old it's not far off whats gonna be in the PS4?.. not bad.
Nintendo and Sony will be seeing sales increases rather sharply then, the good thing about Nintendo.. even though they have underspecced their machines lately, they don't screw over their gamers. Too bad a lot of 3rd parties avoid them.
There's already loads of Halo's, it's as bad as COD now. Constantly milked, and both are not even that great imo.
I'd personally much rather get a PS4 even if it was just for Uncharted and a few other games, i am sick of rehashed console shooters/fighters etc.. They seriously need to bring older titles back like Streets of Rage and Desert Strike, no games like those anymore. Most games we see on consoles are what we can get on the PC and usually better, except...
People who look forward to a proper Banjo and Conker game will be disappointed, best hope Wii U gets similar games, or even PS4.
Crysis is actually rather mediocre, and look how bad the games run even on high end hardware when they come out. It's flashy graphics with not much optimization.
Well i guess people will now look at getting a Wii U, i already own one but have barely used it due to lack of games so far. But one of those & a PS4 should fetch quality games.
A brick? looks more like a damn fuel can for a tank going by the size of it.
Well they are obviously greedy, i'll continue to use my retail Windows 7, and buy windows (if better than 8) in future for my gaming setups, but from MS that's probably it for me.
When i saw the GTA parody in the Simpsons before, i was surprised they didn't call it Grand Theft Otto.. just seems natural.
