It is a very nice screen but it's not perfect, it's a shame it has those irritating patchy areas as a flaw that you can see in dim/dark places. Other than that it would be perfect.
Of course it will, it's not accurate in the slightest because someone can easily lie.
Better off gaming on PC, and Wii U. No crap like that on those.
Hopefully all next gen games are better optimized on PC now than they have been before, and not get poorly running ones like Crysis that run bad @ 1080p even on mid-high end cards. That newest one won't even run 60+fps on a high end card, struggle to get 40 or so, i don't play them but benchmarks show it.. that's pretty poor for such powerful graphics cards.
Let's hope Source engine 2 fares well on high end cards this time, i remember CSS & HL2 dropping as...
it should be the standard, but not when we get games like Crysis. Look at some benchmarks of those games, they run poorly even on high end stuff and it's pretty rediculous we still get games that struggle to hold 30-40fps at best at 1080p.
I really don't get people that say rubbish like it's hard to tell the difference between 30 and 60fps, or our eyes can only see 30 most. Play a PC game and use the console to lock the frame rate to 30 and try looking around with the mouse in CSS for example, then lock the frame rate to 60 and do the same. Big difference.
There's also a difference from 60-120, less pronounced from 30-60 but a bit smoother nonetheless. 1080p is still the best resolution on PC for sp...
Source engine 2 isn't far away now, i personally don't like these kinds of mods. They only increase graphics a bit and are very poorly optimized giving low frame rates apparently.
It seems Valve may be testing the new engine on a L4D title, but i wonder if they'll do what they did with HL source and not upgrade the textures and models? i don't see much point personally other than to show off maybe particle effects and lighting, i'd rather see a game built ...
Hopefully this means better framerates on PC's with mid/high end graphics cards, since some games like Crysis run poorly even at 1080P with high end cards.
Still 1080P is the sweet spot, but it should get a nice boost now with even better optimized games, and no low framerates and always over 60 hopefully.
But it seems like Source engine 2 isn't far away now, so i'll likely upgrade my video card/whole computer if i7 isn't good enough then.
And PC gaming is still cheaper in the long run, for the people who moan about the cost.
Games = always £10 cheaper over console versions, no monthly/yearly sub costs and it soon adds up.
A few years of PSN/Live & 10 games minimum add up to the cost of a good gaming PC which you can build for £600+.
If you want the cheaper option out of PS4/XboxOne you really go with a good PC instead, no monthly subscription costs. Initial costs are higher sure but it's actually cheaper than if you paid for say 10 games & a few years sub fees of the online service on a console.
Games are £10 cheaper almost always over the console version, there's £100 saved over a console with just 10 games. Then online sub fees, given a few years over another £100.

Meh, I already have a PC for all the multiplat games. Plus Wii U is looking pretty nice for first party titles, can never complain about those Mario Kart 8 visuals especially with the graphical style they use.
Who want's so many games that are more realistic and gritty over fun games that are more cartoony?.
Besides, I'm pretty certain MS used a PC for games when they released those Munch's Oddysee trailers all that time back.. I remember reading ...
I'm not liking the fact many games are becoming more gritty and realistic, because it's not just the graphics but the gameplay going that way as well.. now that works for a few games, but i found others like GTA IV boring compared to San Andreas and Vice City because of that.
This is why i really like Nintendo lately, also MK8 looks really good even if the Wii U is below PS4 technically.. still looks great with that style it uses, good enough for me.

They should definitely do a new Starfox next, hopefully with more levels & routes than the 64 version.. it's been so long since we had a new Starfox.
If 3D World is as big as Super Mario World on the SNES, i see no problem with it other than the possibility that it might be too easy to beat.
It adds to the challenge, if there's not even slightly frustrating parts to a game, that would make it a breeze.. and i personally hate easy games.
I tried a wireless mouse a long time ago, must be almost 10 years ago and i found it no good for gaming.. mind back then i suppose latency was worse.
I still prefer wired though even today, obviously the more wireless things you have connected then the more latency that will add up. I've gotten very used to the Logitech mice, at first i'm sure i hated the thumb groove.. but i grew to like it.
Over-rated IMO, played 1 and 3 and found them boring.
At the time i got the original Xbox i was playing Soldier of Fortune 2 online on my PC, and back then in 2002 it was much more fun than Halo.. i seriously just found it so boring.
Half Life series is much higher quality.
The term 60fps is rather vague, do you mean constant or average? because you still need mid-high end hardware to get 60fps as often as possible @ 1080p on PC, that's not likely to change any time soon.
But the beauty of PC gaming is keeping 1080p while still having in game options set to high to make them look and run better over the console version.
Steam blows XboxOne out of the water.. and that's just a games service.
Have you never heard of Half Life? i don't care what anyone says, but Valve's games are much better in the quality department than Halo, popularity doesn't tell the full story.
I still don't understand how that works fully yet, does it use your own upload speed? if that's the case.. you would need a good broadband connection, i have 100mbps download and 10mbps upload. For quality streaming at the Vita's resolution i'm guessing you'd need at least 200-300kb/s. I can download files at 10mb/s and i've seen them go over 12mb/s downloading a game on Steam. Upload files at 1mb/s. I have more than enough bandwidth.
But do you need t...
