You can always use your PC (if it's good) for the multiplat games, since they will be cheaper, plus free online services like Steam so it will be a better thing to do.
Not to mention the better performance you'd get by doing so, then own a PS4/Wii U for the best exclusives and you've got win/win.
Of course they won't rise, pretty sure the same was said last gen..
Look at PC games, usually always the same prices for a new title & cheaper than the console version by at least £10.
They won't cost anywhere near that on PC, you're better off having a good gaming rig for multiplats and a PS4 & Wii U for the exclusives. Plus you don't get charged any monthly fees on PC, the games are almost always £10 cheaper at least over the console version.
You buy the consoles for the exclusives, and in this case Wii U and PS4 are best for that.
If you want multiplats get them on PC, free online play, better performance and the games are almost always cheaper than the console version.
Not good if it sells well, not for next gen at least.. But, i'll be sticking to PC for multiplats anyway as the games are cheaper and run better, plus no subscription fees.
PS4 + Wii U for exclusives will do well.
I hope they add in Mission Mode again, and possibly some type of multiplayer co-op missions would be fun as well and extend the life of the game.
PC for most multiplats, free online, cheaper games and usually better frame rates, PS4 + Wii U for the exclusives.
I seem to be one of the few who does not find these games very enjoyable, i've gone that way with regular beat em ups as well.. had my fair share of them on the PS1 with Tekken 1, 2 and 3.. Final Fight on the Mega CD as well, and finally the last fighting game i ever played much of was Soul Calibur on Dreamcast, i had DOA 4 on Xbox and only played it a little bit.
I've tried playing other fighters and i just find them stale and repetitive now, same thing over and over...
The blue shell in the n64 version was the best one, since it was spiked and ran along the track to potentially hit other players before the one in first place.. that was most fair compared to the other games.
It seems people are thinking this is an exact copy of 3D land, but it would be contradictory of this game's title if it isn't going to be a lot bigger with more features.
I'm just hoping they ramp up the difficulty on the bosses at least, the last platformers i played that had pretty challenging bosses was Sonic Rush & Rush Adventure. Some games are a bit too easy these days, i'd rather them be long and challenging to make it last much longer.
Big HDTV's are pretty cheap these days anyway.
Well that's a pretty vague comparison, a PC case can look good even if you have a micro one since it's not difficult to choose your own case and put all the parts in.
Wii U actually looks best out of all 3 next gen consoles which is a bit unexpected.
They already make money from DLC, this would be another way for them to milk even more money from games.
Surely the prices of games would vary a lot as well more than now for good + bad ones with that.
Look at game developers who actually cut out content from a finished game just to release it as DLC soon after, this would be another way just to screw over the customer.
if XboxOne is a success you can guarantee that even if not this gen, next gen maybe everyone will follow and go with that used game policy at least. XboxOne has barely anything going for it unless you like overrated shooters. Better off owning a good PC because you'll get most the multiplats anyway that you can get on the XboxOne.
Remember because of MS we have this stupid BS going on with DLC since the 360 came out and it's stuck, and as everyone knows some companies...
Halo has so many sequels now, the first one was even over rated. It's a bit like CoD.
Halo hasn't been out as long as the best classics like Doom or Half Life and it already has more games than those series.
Well the reveal of the GTX 780 proved that Titan is an overpriced joke of a card as i suspected from the start, the 780 is like 2-3fps behind the Titan and a lot cheaper.. though still a lot of cash.
What happened to prices of high end cards? i thought £400 for a 6800 ultra all the way back in 2004 was expensive.. now they just seem to go higher and higher, and they act as if 4K resolution gaming is possible.. pfft.. you need a high end card if you want to play the lates...
They need the Mission mode like the one in the DS version to come back, that added quite a lot more content to the game in my opinion.
Just like MS planted the bad seed known as DLC which you pay for.. and it stuck.
I think it was a really good game personally, i remember playing it on Xbox and seeing the graphics after Vice City, the cartoon look and colours really made it look sharp for the time.
They should definitely make a sequel to Hit and Run.
I didn't think Wii U would cut it in the graphics department, but after seeing Mario Kart and 3D world, what with the style of graphics they use and all i think the visuals are more than good enough. Only issue is 3rd party games, but for the first party ones you can guarantee they'll be on to winners.
