Same, i always see that in videos.. YouTube is laggy as well, i've seen it on my desktop and laptop, always in panning or tilting shots and scrolling text etc..

Same in game if you look at a building and strafe, it will have this random jerk very slightly.

Crysis might look really good but look how crap their games run, i looked at recent benchmarks of Farcry 3 at 1080p and even a GTX 780 (practically a cheaper Titan) gets ALMOST 60fps (don't know if avg or max framerate) now that is really rediculous.

Mind that was at Ultra settings, and as i found out before Ultra barely looks any better than high settings on a lot of games, just makes the framerate go to crap.

But barely 60fps on such an expensive card, ...

Would love to see a new Killing Floor with that engine.. oh man.

I am more looking forward to seeing Source 2 though, and what they do with L4D3, and HL3.. hopefully better physics and stuff as well as the graphics.

it'll only be good if they up the player limit to a huge amount for the PC version, 16 players is way too low.

The screen isn't going to be huge, say it's 2" bigger, are you seriously going to notice the difference in picture quality?.

I have a 27" 120hz 1080P monitor, and a 1080P 15" laptop screen, my laptop is connected to my monitor right now and i can view both at the same time.. Playing games look great, the difference is that where jaggies already show up they are very slightly larger on the bigger screen.. bearing in mind that's a screen almost 2x big...

Yeah there's that other theme park game coming out as well, though i don't think it's going to have objectives like RCT has or much in the way of micro management.

I prefer making money and completing objectives and unlocking new stuff as you progress rather than having no limits like a sandbox, that should be a separate mode.

The true potential of this will shine on PC, as long as they don't limit it to a lame 16 players like the console versions.. give us 64+ and editable game modes so we can have Cops n Robbers servers like SA-MP has with stats being saved to server.

Also, car surfing please.. nothing like playing SA-Mp with 2-3 people on top of a car hunting down some other players. In IV the realism kinda killed the fun, you just slide off moving objects.

GTA IV's online is extremely boring if you have ever played San Andreas's MP mod on PC, the best servers (like Cops N Robbers mode) have 100+ players most times of the day and you can do a lot of things in it along with saved stats.

GTA V has a similar map to SA so i am hoping when it comes to PC, it has the full freedom of the SA-MP mod plus 64+ players.. i hear the console version only has 16 players, that's nowhere near enough for a map that big.

64+ players for the PC version please R*, don't give us lame watered down crap like GTA IV was.. we want a fully featured huge MP with custom game modes like SA-MP.

With a map like V has, it deserves to be huge in the multiplayer department.

PS4's cpu is clocked lower, and less performance than an Intel chip at the same clock speeds.

Unlimited Draw distance will make the multiplayer on PC awesome, now R* just we need dedicated servers plus editable game modes and 64+ players. Then we are set for a great MP just as fun if not better than SA-MP!

Yeah in sales maybe, what's so special about the game? you don't even control fights.. just pick an attack style, how exciting..

Custom Robo Arena was good though, way way way better than any Pokemon game since you actually control the fights.

Not really, a bigger reason would be if R* actually make a good multiplayer this time with tons of players, IV's multiplayer is boring compared to SA-MP.

PC ver hopefully will run at least as good as GTA IV and not worse.

64+ player online, steam game and not gfwl and allow us to make our own game modes with dedicated servers.. that will be way better than the console versions.

Don't restrict it like GTA IV, was so boring online compared to SA-MP.

For a console it's good but for a PC it's actually average at best.

All of the GPU ram is being shared with the whole system, ideally the GPU and system would have it's own seperate dedicated ram.. PC GPU's have been using dedicated GDDR5 ram for a while now, and of course DDR3 for the system.

It's the most efficient way to do things, but obviously PS4 shares ram with everything because it's cost effective rather than having more of an...

You could build a much better gaming base PC for a couple hundred more as well, it's just the initial cost that seems a lot. With consoles games cost more and you pay for online now for both systems, games are cheaper on PC and no subscription costs and can do way more than either console.

People obviously want the console for simplicity of plug and play.. it's only worth getting for a handful of good exclusives and thats it.

4556d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

How ignorant, Steam is thriving. PC gaming is well worth it, cheaper games and free online not to mention no restriction. PC gaming isn't much more expensive than buying a console at launch and buying new games on release.

it's just initial cost, you pay nothing monthly.. console costs soon add up.

Well i'm pretty sure it's possible to see a GTA using the same Rage engine as IV and V on Vita at least, even if toned down a bit i think it could look good and run well enough.

The thing i didn't like about SR1 was the fact the game didn't have many missions and the combat felt odd compared to say GTA SA. Using guns was ok, fighting with melee was weird because it seemed to lock on to whoever you were right next to instead of punching where you wanted.

The other thing is the food, there is already regenerating health that recharges pretty fast so it makes food almost useless in my opinion..

Also the cops/enemies couldn't...

No but people who use this argument fail to realise that brand new games on release are always cheaper than the console version, plus now that you have to pay for online on PS4 makes PC even better.

For about £600 you can build a pretty nice base computer, it will be much better than PS4 for these reasons: free online, cheaper games, usually better performance than PS4 (depending on game & graphics card)

But yea if you want a simple plug and go syste...
