Fair enough Beavis, I won't take away your enjoyment of the film. The problem I have is that Resistance 3 is a game and thus it is treated as a fun, interactive experience. Battle: LA is like WATCHING someone play a video-game. The story is nonsense, the characters are cookie-cutter and the dialogue is atrocious.
If the disagrees are anything to go by, it's that few gamers are into real film. I'm glad you replied, but the majority that didn't are probably well...
So wait, are the people disagreeing with me suggesting that Battle LA is a good film?
No wonder games can't be considered art.
Is this on the Battle LA disc? or does it come with a code?
I don't want to have to buy a terrible movie in order to play the demo.
Blake Griffin dunks for a living,
you post on n4g.
Get slammed kid.
Bayonetta was pretty lengthy as I recall. Purely from a gameplay perspective, it was probably the best action game in 2010. Even topping God of War III and perhaps Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.
The only real issue with Vanquish was the lack of multiplayer, which would be absolutely welcome given the incredible mechanics.
I hope Platinum Games sees more success. Their work isn't ground-breaking by any stretch, but they've never forgotten about the fun-...
Wait, wait, wait, hold up.
Where are these "much loving" fans?
Paul W.S. is an insult to both the gaming and film medium.
By virtue of the fact that he made that comment makes him the narcissist. I'm probably one of the few that really enjoyed Far Cry 2, but damn, L.A. Noire is like the second coming of Christ by comparison.
How long is the game? I'm going to download this right now from Desura.
If you guys haven't checked out Dear Esther or Korsakovia I recommend checking out those free indie's as well. :)
No one is being "ungrateful" with the package, the gesture is fine, but it's easy to see what they are doing here if you aren't a complete fanboy.
They've package 4 games (PS3) that either have direct sequels, or sequels coming in a few months. So in a sense, its an advertising ploy for the next game in the series. They've picked them specifically for that reason.
Not only that, but if you are any kind of gamer, you probably own thos...
A more logical option would have been to provide either the games on the list or a voucher for online purchases (say 15-20 dollars). The games they've chosen (particularly LittleBigPlanet, Infamous and Ratchet & Clank), have been chosen to boost sales of their sequels either already out or coming out in the near future. Most that play avidly on PS3 will have these titles, including me.
I have Dead Nation as a choice. That's it. It isn't about picking titles fo...

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Case and point.
They all took 10 hours or less. Hell, you can breeze through Silent Hill 3 in about 2-3 hours. The value comes with the different endings, which I hope will be the case.
I'll still end up playing this, but lets be honest, Silent Hill lived and died when 3 ended. Since then they've felt like wacky spin-offs. None of them are bad, they just can't grasp the genuine genius of the first 3.
Look at the one member disagreeing with every comment, rofl. Maybe if you actually said something, you wouldn't look like such an inane, uneducated 15 year old bro.
Didn't they have an internal attack on themselves today? One of their former members unleashed a similar attack on their own work.
Either way, it's up to them to make a conscious decision, whether they want to attack a company, or the people. By attacking the community, it negates their argument against Sony. If they had a real problem, they should have taken it up with Consumer Affairs.
So 4 people don't think this game looks good? Or am I getting shafted because it's running on xbox?
Regardless of texture quality, look at the art style, the painstaking realism brought to the characters and their outfits and the city itself. How is it not a grand technical achievement?
Thanks dudes.
What's up with the disagrees? Thanks North America, there are other countries in the world too.
Anyone in Australia know if it's up? I'm at work at the moment.
Well, at the very least he ain't as brutally ugly as Danny De Vito's Penguin was, haha. Closer to a Christopher Nolan kind of Penguin.
Looking forward to seeing more at E3.
