Lol at this kid. Bro, read the URL before you post.
There is no definitive winner for game of the year, you can argue it all you like but the so-called "award" doesn't exist. Some of you people need to stop reading ign.
This article is delivering exactly what it set out to do, and now true to form, people are replying with their thoughts like they mean something on this website. Flame bait articles of the most intelligent kind.
can say God of War 3 was better than Bayonetta. I played the ps3 version of Bayonetta and found it to be a much better game. Yes, God of War 3 has the "epicness", they throw the epicness around as much as they can, but where was the soul?
It was probably the biggest disappointment this year. By no means a bad game, it was quite good actually, but they decided to paint a pretty picture rather than honour the story in the right way.
Everyone still ISN'T listening to Kudo. Whenever he makes a redundant comment I'm lead to believe he's high on something, and given the fact that he wears sunglasses indoors, I have no reason to doubt this.
If anyone actually read the article, Kotick wasn't talking about graphics, he's talking about features and additions to the game.
It's easy to call Kotick a greedy douche-bag, but you'll all still be there to buy the next Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty, lapping it up.
The killstreaks are well and good, but I think they should reward 25+ kills and over with some adequate killstreak attacks. The decision to cut the tactical nuke was a great one, but they should have provided something in place for those (like me) who rarely hit 25-30 kills in a row.
Gamers on Molyneux's shit-talking: 'Nowhere Near' Limits.
I have no idea why people complain about the blurring. Seriously, if you want to see a headshot, go up to a corpse in the game that you haven't shot in the head yet, and shoot.
I'm sure you'll be completely underwhelmed.
Being disappointed by a game because you can't see blood coming out of some chumps head is bat-sh*t retarded. It goes to show how many "bro gamers" there are nowadays just looking for their gore fix, because game...
Best article title I've seen for a while.
just in case you wanted to play your ps3 outside, like I'm sure everyone does. lol.
The video is hilariously true to the game. MW2 is imperfect in alot of ways, but I find it difficult to deny that I'm drawn to it. Those who stopped playing it after the first week probably had a 0.3 KDR. Not much to complain about really. If I'm in the mood for a more realistic multiplayer experience I'll put in Bad Company 2. If I'm looking for a quick rush I'll play MW2.
It's win, win either way.
and easily trumps the others in the trilogy in every concievable way. At least, that's how I feel. One of the best films to have come out of Korea and indeed, one of the best films I've seen in the last decade. As a game? It's debatable. I've thought about "playing" it to some extent and I'm sure alot of it would be good, but it's also far too emotionally complex to work as a game.
By virtue of the fact that most people here are agreeing with Hip Hop Gamer, they are all retarded.
Killzone 3, whilst an incredible achievement on the PS3, won't touch Rage on PC. All the demos they showed of Rage at E3 were on console, and they still looked incredible.
considering no one bought Alan Wake.
"Future proof" is argument Sony is putting out there. I thought I made that clear but obviously not. Perhaps the reason for most 360 games fitting to a single disc is because it has been used as the lead platform for the last 5 years, and why not, it's been successful enough. Perhaps because blu-ray wasn't an option that was pushed in '05 as being the successor.
In layman's terms, more space = more content, and that's quickly become apparent no...
Did I say it was future proof from a hardware perspective?
Blu-ray works as a storage medium. DVD hasn't. Lost Planet 2 anyone? A negligible difference perhaps, but we've seen the size of Final Fantasy XIII as well. If compressed videos, lower resolutions and 3 discs is preferrable, then all power to you buddy.
As for the HDD, I don't think there is any point in arguing it, considering you couldn't address mine.
The 360 slim, while enjoying some cool features and additions, lacks the versatility to stop the PS3 in the long run. The whole "future-proof" argument for Sony goes hand-in-hand with blu-ray compatibility, the next logical step from DVD. It's been beneficial to not only those who watch movies, but those who play games, and has allowed developers to really push the envelope on a plethora of recent releases.
Secondly, developers are beginning to utilize the con...
I imported the asian version of this for PS3 and there is honestly nothing quite like it. I'm not a huge fan of Jim Sterling but he's absolutely right. You can't honestly consider yourself a hardcore gamer unless you've played through this. The game is flawed in so many ways, but the experience is hard to define. It has to be played to be understood. The story is fantastic and good enough to break the monotony of the combat and driving mechanics. Some of it is downright bizarr...
Some people should read reviews rather than the scores attached. They complain when something scores too low or too high and never actually read the print.
