Two very talented hip-hop artists produce an average track. Hard to even say what this song has in relation to Call of Duty.
Thanks for the helpful disagrees. If anyone is looking for an answer, it seems that Sony hasn't informed journalists of the embargo date just yet (from Irvine's twitter).
Honestly though, how many people here can say they legitimately own both games? I'd guess next to zero.
The opinion here is obviously going to swing in the direction of whichever console you own. Period.
This article will get exactly what it wants. People will argue in the comments section until this hits 900 degrees. Then they'll go back to whatever game they play most.
I say keep the last part and cut out the whining.
I think the tightened controls were great and in general, the game played much better, but one of my pet-peeves is making the game harder to extend playtime. I had some amazingly cheap deaths, especially during the jet-pack stage. All-in-all it equated to about 4-5 hours of playtime for me. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I didn't feel the need to check out the multiplayer for that reason. A pity, because I enjoyed playing it when it was in Beta. It really has to be the complete packa...
I'd liked to have seen them branch out a little. Maybe a new setting will do them good. I really think Guerrilla have only made 2 legitimately fun games in Killzone: Liberation and Killzone 2. I'll probably get disagreed with crazily, but Killzone 3's campaign was absolutely atrocious. I'm still looking forward to seeing what they come up with though.
Does anyone know if there is an embargo on reviews? I remember Uncharted 2 reviews dropping almost a month early.
Nice work BlackBible. The man makes valid points. It doesn't matter how much you love the Uncharted franchise, the game can still have problems. Now is the time to speak up to get this game closer to perfection, don't be in denial about it. Make Uncharted 3 the best multi-player experience it can be by telling Naughty Dog what you don't like.
I played a few hip-fire only games tonight and it's pretty damn potent. They'll need to do some serious tweaking before release day. I'm enjoying it enough to put the hours in, but they need to put a leash on some of the less strategic players.
Haha, did any of those user comments remind people of some of the posters here? Doesn't surprise me in the slightest given IGN's community probably ranks even lower than this site in terms of rationality. I thought the reviewer answered those questions in a constructive manner.
I think everyone should take note of the first review complaint. Rarely does the same critic review every game in the series. So when they say the game is better than previous iterations, it do...
Sales and server numbers are usually the factors considered, however skewed they may be. If we are talking about the quality of the product, then it's up for dispute.
People love this stuff though. Every article discussing the feud is eaten up and argued over constantly. Personally, I can't stand it. I really don't have a preference for one over the other. It won't stop until Call of Duty does, and that won't happen any time soon.
The PP-2000 is pretty close to the UMP45. Smaller clip, but deals almost the equivalent damage. I think most will probably move over to that when they find out the UMP has been tweaked.
I do play Call of Duty pretty extensively, but it always makes me laugh when people suggest that ONLY Cod fans were disappointed by the BF3 Beta. You're marginalizing millions of people. I'm loving the beta. In fact, the game wasn't even going to be a day one purchase for me until I played it on PC. Now I'll be picking it up for sure.
The people you're thinking of are 15 or under, or lack the patience to deal with a DIFFERENT GAME. By all accounts, it'...
They keep having to reiterate the fact that it is a beta test for the idiots that treat it like a demo and still think it somehow resembles the final game.
I apologise for enjoying a series of games for their short, sharp, well-paced campaigns.
It's one of those classic horror games that contains a special moment. Silent Hill 2 had Pyramid Head, Condemned had the mannequins, and Amnesia has the water hallway.
Most of it is old, but they have a little more footage added to the end.
Just another day for Drakey cakes.
Welp, it looks like I can finally sell my copy of Burnout 3, because this bad-boy looks blisteringly fast.
The Eyes was just terrifyingly hilarious.
Dark Souls is up there and probably the toughest game of this generation, but it doesn't beat out some of the early NES and SNES games that were just impenetrable fortresses of pain. Ninja Gaiden, Contra and Battletoads, I'm looking at you.
CoD4 is about as good as it gets. It's the best Call of Duty game and will not be topped by any other CoD title this generation. Grenade amounts are literally the only thing I would change. Almost every map is perfect, the guns are appropriately balanced and fun to use, and the pace of the game is frenetic without becoming the clusterf*ck that MW2 created.
