I was thinking PS Now is their focus for mobile using phones etc. Maybe that is what you meant?PS VR kinda is it's own thing.
You're welcome to shop where you like. I prefer Steam.
Not on Steam. :(
Same.PS1 soon after release. I was actually late to the PS2 party as gaming too a back seat to family back then. But I've owned every Sony console and surely intend to buy a PS5 day 1.
What year is it? I must have been transported back in time. Cool. I'll make a killing on the stock market knowing the future. /s
Looks really nice. It'd probably be very windy at that altitude walking around. ;) Game is coming along it would seem. Maybe one day I will play it.
The majority of Google's revenue comes from selling 'you' to advertisers. You are the product. I think it is likely that is their aim too. They would probably love to have advertisements in games in lieu of loading screens, ertc.
As probably most of us here are doing, I’ll stick with my PC and consoles for the foreseeable future. It sure seems even if one is interested in streaming (of which I am not) a hybrid approach like Sony and MS are taking is the best approach today.
It’s surely better a studio is allowed the time to put a good product out. I am hopeful the game is well done and offers something new on Wastelanders.
I was intrigued by hololens some time back. I think it is rather expensive and maybe the experience it provides doesn’t translate well to gaming much. But whatever, MS should focus on what they see if important. No need to companies to be in lockstep.
For me, I think Death Stranding is a great game. It makes no difference to me if others don't like it. To each their own.
I think there is more to it than just running an SSD in the existing systems to say you're running that feature. Likely faster bus speeds ( PCIe versus SATA ) & prefetch cache which are not available to storage on current consoles. An NVMe drive in a pc is considerably faster than a regular SATA3 based SSD.
Agreed. What I take from this is never pre-order from Nintendo.
Contrarian articles for click-bait. Such articles and sites peddle the console war.
@Ultra Humor is lost on some people.
I also wish EA would make the effort to improve the game but I seriously doubt they would do that since their business people see minimal financial gain (if any)) for doing so.
A solid 4k 60 fps with very low load times will be fantastic. Add to that ray tracing and the visuals could be amazing.
@Zeref By keeping 1st party pure, I take that to mean that by not including 1st party on launch they will be increasing sales to drive higher revenue. Said revenue can be used to give developers more time to make a quality game and also drive profits. It's reason not proof. Will MS devote the time and money to their studios to create extremely high quality games going forward given the lower revenue they derive? I paid $2 for 16 months of Gamepass. So I can play those games for $2 for a ...
I think the game will be good. I'll be playing it later today. I don't need another Fortnite or other such games. Something different which makes you think is good. Some people just don't like to think. This is more likely a game people who like to play strategy games or the like would enjoy.
@Obscure
That is true PS Now does not currently support mobile phones etc. I guess I am just thinking that rather than Sony putting engineering effort and money into a new portable they must be thinking they'd invest in PS Now and support on other devices. But I dunno. I am just guessing. Are they planning to "replace" PS Now? Rebrand it? I imagine they are probably moving some of the cloud infrastructure for services to Azure since that announcement was made ...
