This is what I like about chapter 13 in XV, you find all these research papers and logs that help flesh out what was going on. Not enough of it to redeem the plot though.
FFXV was a terrible story, it's obviously there was a lot missing so we end up with something like: "and then stuff happened". It's story was weak, the characters were weak, it's a pretty forgettable game, plot-wise. They had the potential for a good story, but they obviously needed more time to flesh it out. There was no foreshadowing or details about what was going on and we had long stretches of little or no plot and character development. I care for none or these cha...
I know, the matchups take so long and there are hardly any players.
Sony pretty much nailed almost everything this gen, that's a stupidly high hurdle for anyone to jump now that this gen is well and truly under way. I hope the Switch does well, because I kinda want one. Microsoft really needs some big announcements and get the momentum going.
This is what alot of my friends did, they abandoned the Xone because their friends got PS4s and they wanted to play together. You could just buy a PC/PS4 or even a Switch depending on how that one pans out for Nintendo (I'm waiting to see wether it turns out like the Wii or the WiiU).
It's strange how people don't understand competition is good, it's stops other companies from charging whatever they like and getting lazy and churning out crap. Personally I would like to see Nintendo and Microsoft step up, but Sony is having a pretty strong year already by the looks of it.
They better announce some games, their release list for the year is looking pretty bare.
@affrohop
Not if you live in Australia, we're half way through building an NBN and I doubt most connections can handle it.
I find story tends to go out the window with open world games, I prefer a tighter narrative, that's why I found it hard to enjoy FFXV, but I really enjoy Tales of Beseria.
I wish they'd port it to PS4, I really want to play it.
Why not both? I got a PS4 and the Xone doesn't have enough games to interest me, depending on how the Switch turns out I may buy one.
Actually I'd be happy with 1440p upscale to 4k, that should still loook pretty good on most tvs and it's a more realistic target for consoles. I hope the next gen consoles aim for 1440p 60fps at least.
Sony is shaping up to have a ridiculous year, I just don't the all the time and money to buy and enjoy the games I want, I'll be cherry picking all year at this rate and buying the others later when their cheaper.
If we didn't have so many great games coming out this year, I wouldn't be able to wait for this.
I know, I miss this feature so much, it's annoying inviting friends over and having to take turns sharing the one controller rather than couch co-op or couch Vs. I miss the days were we networked two, three or four xboxs together. I can't even take the PS4 to a friends and split screen 4-player COD or anything of the likes.
True, the PS4 was doing pretty good right off the bat, surprisingly they haven't missed a beat, so I think it will do as well as the PS2 did in it's day, just gotta keep pumping out those games.
Can't go wrong with either choice really.
Honestly, I think I'll just abandon the Star Ocean series after the last one that just came out, I've really lost interest in it. As for Beseria, it's really good, it almost makes up for how bad Zesteria was, alot of people are saying check out the Zesteria anime instead of the game, but I don't know if I can stomach it.
E3 hasn't really been relevant for years now, everyone just hosts their own conferences/shows these days.
That and people who say those who like Japanese games and hardware are in the minority, defiantly not this gen. Then again, the Xboxs never do well in Japan for some reason.
