TBH I would prefer JRPGs to lean towards being more like World of Final Fantasy than Final Fantasy XV, but to each their own. FFXV feels like it's missing something to me.
Doom had alot of technical issues (haven't played it for a while) and I assume Denuvo is to play for a good portion of them.
@jwillj2k4 You don't need a high spec machine for old arcade games, although I would be interested in this because I don't want to track down all those games for my own build, plus this one has pre-made controls.
I was excited and wanted to really like it, but I'm finding it very bland so far. Impressive graphics and decent gameplay, just bland though.
After seeing the trailer, I really want to know more. It looks really interesting.
I know right? This gen, they seem to be crazy on fire! My wallet will not be happy about this, at least I'll have lots of games to play.
My only concern is with the anti-aliasing, other then that, the game looks good.

Actually I do miss turn-based combat, I wouldn't mind FFXV graphics with gamplay from the PS1 era of games, but to each their own.
Why wouldn't it sell well, Final Fantasy can sell well based on brand power and that's it.
I'm pretty sure it's brutal because there is so much competition and only so many gamers/money to go around each month.
It really does need a break, maybe it should be bi-yearly, so they can work on something else, as for Assassin's Creed, I'm just waiting on collections now instead of buying each game as they come out.
I wanted to get it on PC, but at the time, windows store... I think that's changed now, but I have too many other games to play. I really wanted it at the time.
TBH , the last three months of this year is absolutely crazy for game releases, I just don't have the time for them all (money would be an issue as well, I'm waiting for price drops on games that aren't must haves on release day).
I own the first, but I find the game-play slightly weaker and a little more awkward than I had expected, still getting the second game... Eventually.
Played this at a friend's house when I was a teenager, makes Moba makes more sense now (I haven't player moba).
Do you have the content to fill a massive open world? No? Smaller would be good then.
no necessarily, although I hope the PS5 has BC. I do get worried about the PS2/PS3 dying of old age though (and one day it will be hard to get replacements for them).
Moar sexy fun? Yes please!

They're right though, it's after the same market share as Cod and Battlefield, so not so good timing on EA's part.
Doom just dropped Denuvo recently, I suspect Denuvo caused alot of issues with that game.
