I get the feeling alot of people will be finished with the game by that point.
I really don't think they should have been included in the list since they were online games despite being main numbered games.
To be fair, Final Fantasy can sell on brand name alone, but I do agree that quality decreases noticeably after FFX.
I wouldn't mind playing the PSX games again, I never finished 8 because one of the discs my friend lent me was busted (right near the last dungeon too). And I played the crap out of it until that point. I sunk alot of time into the games from 6 onwards.
I always remember there being alot of discussion on the PSX generation of games via online forums and fansites (look at all the plot theories we have). The PSX generation was the height of the series popularity anyway, it was cheaper and faster to pump games out at that time. I think the AAA budgets for series like Final Fantasy cause it a variety of problems since development becomes more complicated.
In my opinion FFX was the last good Final Fantasy, after that, each tit...
From personal experience, anyone I've lent a FF game to, generally doesn't seem to overly mind the turn-based game play, it's more the amount of dialogue they don't seem to like. Or to put it in their words: there's too much talking or it's too chatty.
TBH I'm mostly ok with this list, personally I would score 12 alot lower myself. Between FFXV and WoFF, I vastly prefer WoFF, mainly due to the story and characters (I like the gameplay too, but I think they could have gone further with the stacking system). WoFF may not have the gameplay or budget of FFXV (I liked WoFF better), but it was by far a more polished experience, especially since it didn't have FFXV development problems.
I would be happy to play a game w...
I have to say, I dislike this kind of music, but it really does fit in well with the theme and style of Doom's gameplay.
Yeah, I'm on chapter 7 and I'm not feeling the story at all, it pretty much doesn't exist at this point. Plus there doesn't seem to be much going on with any of the main characters either (What the hell was with Galdio and Noctis just before the titan fight? Did I miss something there)? Game play is fine, the ost seems very small though.
Loved the demo, now I'm going to buy the game.
Would have brought a PS4 PRO if I didn't buy the standard PS4 years ago.
And with that, I'm hanging onto my wallet and it's contents.
Make that anniversary collection happen Square-Enix.
no surprise there, with so many great games coming out, peoples budgets are getting too tight so they can only prioritize what they really want. Not much room left for shovel ware and kusoge.
I hope I can at least make the car faster at some point, it doesn't feel any faster than Chocobo riding and the Chocobos give you more freedom.
TBH, it didn't look like a very good game based on the trailers, I haven't even heard much praise for this game. Keeping in mind I haven't tried this game yet, although I normally like grasshopper games.
I'm only on chapter 5 and as much as I like the game, it's obviously missing bits and pieces. After being in development hell, it's not surprising the story is lacking.
I wouldn't mind Sega throwing it's hat in the ring, but they probably won't since their a software only company since the dreamcast.
I hate what PC gaming has become, a monopolized digital platform, I just really want physicals with all the data on disc, I'd pay a little bit extra if I had to. Indie games and very low budget titles can stay digital though, they generally don't take up as much space/download as the higher or triple A titles do.
I disagree, the mechanics are fine, but the events from the movie and anime should have been included in the game somehow, it doesn't feel like a complete game without it. I'm on chapter 6 and still don't feel a sense of direction with the story, it's just kind of going through the motions. This is more the type of game I would dick around in rather than invest alot of time and effort into.
