To be fair, reviews can be garbage as well (I use FFXV as an example of this, so many reviews only praised it and ignored it's short comings). But generally their a good indication of whether or not you'll like the game.
I think it's more the issue that there's so little to play in the mean time, as far as I can tell, most Xbox owners were looking forward to this.
Persona 5 was in development for a long time, it's impressive that it turned out to be such a polished game when it got released (unlike FFXV which had so many issues during it's development). It really made good use of it's development time as I can't fault it for anything.
@moldybread
Personally I would rather them take more risk and try to put some new IPs out there, but it's too late for that now, because anything they get started on now won't get released by the end of the year. Sometimes playing it too safe can be risky too.
I don't see the point of a delay, it looks like the game is as good as it gets based on the trailers. Sounds like their going to focus on improving the graphics (at this point, I would not tout this game as a good example of what 4k can do).
“The Xbox One X launch lineup will be one of the greatest lineups of games ever available with a major new console release... With so many great exclusives and new games to play, Crackdown 3 would have shipped into an incredibly cro...
TBH, I've bought a large amount of exclusives on any given Console and Handheld, Playstation is just getting hard for me to keep up because I don't have the time or money. I'm pretty sure most console owners buy at least a few exclusives for their chosen console.
Pretty much the majority of the Xbox games are on PC or PS4, some people just like being dramatic.
Did you forget Apple? Apple exists too, it's more expensive but people still buy that in droves and they're not exactly poor (then again, they have their hands on multiple things apart from OSs just like Microsoft does). And if you want to go that route, you can get some flavor of Linux (it's not as user friendly as Mac or Windows though). Those two can sell on brand name alone (although I would argue Windows is more functional than Mac), neither went big on marketing, especially ...
It really needed a few more years to polish it off, you could see the beginnings or some makings of decent plot threads, but they're only lightly touched on or not at all, so much left dangling. Stuff just kinda happens in this game and the bulk of the story is at the beginning and end with nothing much in the middle.
The game really got too much praise during release and there were very few sensible reviews talking about both of it's good and bad points.
I thought the combat was alright, easily serviceable, holy crap was magic over powered though. I wish they did a bit better with the open world too, it's pretty barren even with the outposts, I still want towns and cities, it didn't have enough of them. If only they let you explorer Niflheim and Insomnia, it would have been nice if there were half a dozen towns or Cities spread out on the map. Graphics were fantastic, which isn't a surprise coming from Square-Enix.
Nope, the ending was crap, I haven't touched the game since I finished it. No amount of DLC or patches will fix the heavily flawed game it was. The lack of story and characters was it's biggest low point.
Your delusional to believe it's a market issue, it's a lack of compelling reasons to push those sales, look at how well Windows sells and that doesn't even need much marketing because most people need Windows.
@corroios,
Sarcasm?
It's true though, you don't see much excitement for the XoneX, even amongst my friends and people I know, hardly anyone talks about it. It's not exactly cheap, and then you need a decent 4k TV to take advantage of what the XoneX offers, that's a pretty expensive barrier to entry for most people. Hence it'll sell as well as the PS4 PRO at it's best, people need a compelling reason to invest in that eco system, especially at that price.
I don't know if you joking or trolling.
The WiiU is dead and buried, Nintendo don't want anything to do with it. No one is talking about Xone exclusives, and those that are seem to have mostly negative comments to make (which may or may not be true). Why would you even make such a weak comparison to a dead console? It makes the Xbox's position look worse than it already is, even though it's certainly not in a healthy state.
@SolidStateSnake
I wouldn't call this gen shit since the PS4 is doing phenomenally well (crazy sales and games aplenty), as for the WiiU and the Xone, yeah, it's been pretty bad. Hopefully the Switch maintains it's momentum, unfortunately the XoneX won't change anything for the brand.
Dammit Microsoft, just pay a few developers to make you some exclusives, it's not like your sales are going to get any worse if you do (they certainly w...
Considering their work on the uncharted series, I'm pretty sure it's in safe hands, I've never played a bad uncharted game.
Will it be able to get rid of the negative stigma surrounding it though? It got a lot of heat for a long time after it's release, I think alot of people would avoid it just for that reason (it's hard to shake negative press).
I never played, maybe I will this time, only ever heard good things about it.
