I thought they missed alot...
@niko04
TBH, I've noticed alot of the s**t stirrers pull the "I'm a true gamer and you guys aren't" despite trashing the high points on other consoles while selectively ignoring the downsides of their console of choice (and Xbox has had a pretty bad games lineup this gen).
Peach Beach Splash? No, I know there's other stuff too, just have to check the release charts, I don't normally check them until I get to that month and then wright down what I'm interested in.
I want Blue Reflection and Gundam Versus, I'm still snowed under with games as it is, I may get Utawarerumono alot later on.
I think Horizon Dawn is a bad comparison, it reminds me more of games like Jak and Daxter than Horizon Dawn.
I was really impressed by the interview/trailer, it has so much going on and I thought it was going to be a mediocre budget title at first.
It's a pretty shallow game overall, cool things do happen during game-play and it has nice graphics but it doesn't have a solid foundation, no polish. I haven't played it again after I finished it.
Eh? Do most people not finish their games? I can understand if it's a bad game or you just don't like it, but I finish most of what I own.
Just use magic, magic is ridiculously over powered, that's how I won most of my fights despite being obviously under-leveled. Sometimes I got lucky and a summon smitted my opponent and I didn't have to waste the magic.
A match made in heaven then?
I'm not really happy with FFXV, but that did look really fun and hilarious at the same time.
It will be enshrined as a classic and remember for what it added to the relevant genres.
Your bullet points are more like a list of features if anything. As for the positive and negative points about Demon's Souls, they can all apply to that game, although as a reviewer I would say the game is challenging and tedious, I would emphasis the difficulty and the expectation you will die alot as that tells a reader alot about the game.
Reviews should try to be as objective as possible, not what happens though when it comes to journalism. You should judge the game on each aspect and how it meshes together overall. A persona who is interested in purchasing a title wants to figure out if said title is worth their time and purchase or if it's even tailored to their tastes.
@bolimekurac @Deep-throat
You two are the worst and I'm sure you know it.
Sony and Nintendo have the most exclusives, most of which end up being highly acclaimed, if you seriously think they're not swimming in high quality titles, then Microsoft must have s**t-tier number of titles and acclaim. If your going to your opinion so matter of factly, then please back it up with numbers and links (e.g. a list of current and future exclusives titles and t...
@Thatguy-310,
It's more like those titles have become worn out, they've climaxed and Microsoft can't squeeze much more out of them without being very creative or rebooting them (and that comes with their own issues).
They need new blood.
That's probably okay as long as their budget isn't big like AAA titles you mentioned, I imagine any reasonable person would do their best analysis and adjusted the budget to meet sales expectations (doesn't always work that way though).
I like some of the crazy stuff like being able to alley-oop characters or ride on a monster's back, defiantly want to convince some friends to get this and play online.
Well FF13 had more character building than FF15, I guess that counts for something. Personally I feel the trilogy had an increase in quality with each entry.
TBH, with Playstation I end up buying 1 or 2 games almost every month, it's hard to restrain myself. Nintendo is next with the most games I want. If I owned an Xone, I'd hardly buy anything and most of the people I end up talking to don't really discuss anything on it.
