it feels REALLY good. the interface is mapped incredibly well to the PS3 controller. i feel like i'm playing Neverwinter Nights on a console (down to the radial menu).
i like the characters i've met, and the graphics, while not amazing, they aren't as bad as the trailers i've seen of the game.

because they know it will generate hits. i'd much rather play games, and talk about games, than jabber about sales numbers like we have a god damned idea of what's REALLY going on in Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft's offices, or that we have some type of stake in their success.

the truth of the matter is that the exclusive line-up of the PS3 this year was PHENOMENAL. why SHOULDN'T PS3 fans support those efforts when they are so clearly above what other multi-platform developers are doing?
with that said, i bought Batman: AA, RE5, Ghostbusters, Prototype, and i'll be picking up Dragon Age some time today, and at some point in the future, when i can afford it, i'll pick up Assassin's Creed 2 and Borderlands.
i pick up on my 360.
when it's a title released on PC/Xbox 360/PS3, i always go with the PS3 version, because i prefer the PS3 controller over the 360 controller.
i used to try and upgrade my PC to play the latest games, but with the economy the way it is, my finances the way they are, and two perfectly capable consoles able to play the games on my HDTV with no significant extra stress, i game 100% on consoles these days.
only when i'm running emulators ...
i find it funny that when the PS3 is the "victor" with better visuals than the 360 counterpart, the net isn't flooded with stories about how the PS3 version is better, but when it's the 360 version is the "victor" with better visuals, the net is absolutely SWAMPED with stories about it, and how if you MUST have the superior version of the game, the 360 is the way to go.
now it's, well, if you MUST have the superior version of the game, the PC is the way to go....
i think, since i'm not a fan of SOCOM, i'm not a fan of the style of game that MAG is, which is like a first person SOCOM.
i also didn't have the schedule to play in the beta during beta hours. i was at work, and by the time i'd get home, i'd have about 30 minutes or so to play the beta.
it's just not my type of game. it's a bit too realistic for me. dying in two seconds was just too much.

i'll get Assassin's Creed and Borderlands next year, but with God of War 3, Heavy Rain, and White Knight Chronicles releasing in the first quarter of 2010, i don't know. the exclusives on the PS3 have really been pushing the industry forward, and multi-plats just don't do it for me as much as they used to.
