Framerate is mostly down to gpu power, unless the cpu is a bottleneck. Look at this graphics card review. All games tested with the same exact system, with just the graphics card changed.

you can unlock voltage control in settings, but if you're not sure what you are doing, don't mess with it. You can also set afterburner to start with windows, so you don't have to mess with it every time. I also recommend setting up custom auto fan control. You really don't need to overclock a 1080 though, are you trying to play at 4k?

The xbox1x is smaller because the chips are manufactured on 16nm vs xbox1 at 28nm. This isn't done by microsoft, it's done by whoever makes the chips for AMD, TSMC or Global Foundries. The power upgrade in new consoles is going to depend on how good AMD next gen hardware is, just like the xbox one x power is from newer AMD gpus than the ps4 has

How come no one makes a big deal about no crossplay with steam for pubg? If you do a search you'll see that a lot of players want it and the developer also wants it. Or what about call of duty from windows store can't even play with other pc users. Surely you don't think activision did this because they wanted to?

It's just an email to contact you. PSN and LIVE are competitors and you have to pay money to play mp games. Users are a source of income and since most multiplat multiplayer games are bigger on PSN, it is a big advantage for sony. If people want to play with their friend on ps4, it's money for sony. Should they let xbox live players play for free when ps customers pay?

battlefield1 is #19 and the player count drops to 6000 daily so there are not that many people playing this game. It's played less than nba 2k17, and yearly sports games lose most of the player base when the next one comes out. (2k18 is #4)

well ps4 players have to pay to play multiplayer, so they are not going to let xbox players play for free. So if they do allow it, than someone is going to have to pay up.

they can only work with what AMD has available(or Nvidia) so they will have to wait until they release new hardware.

So if SONY showed the same multiplats as ms, would they have had a better conference? Because those games will be available on ps4 also. What games besides forza and crackdown are coming out soon? What happened to microsoft not showing games far from release?

I think it has to do with the closed nature of psn, xbox live, switch. Is it only an issue if you can't crossplay with ps4? How's that PUBG crossplatform play? What about other "exclusives" like titanfall? PS4 has more cross platform games than xbox one. Even the PS3 has more cross platform games than xbox one. What crossplay with ea access? Only an issue if xbox can't play with ps4 otherwise it's not a big deal right.
