you are comparing the specs of an amd gpu to an nvidia gpu and thinking it will be the same performance. Why not just compare it to a rx 580 which has similar specs and is a polaris chip just like the one in xbox. The rx580 competes with the gtx 1060 in game performance not the 1070.

Isn't havok a cpu physics engine? They bought havok from intel, who isn't exactly known for gpus(even though their integrated gpus are everywhere)

So you don't think having games available on only ps4 is an advantage? It got you to buy a ps4. I bought one for bloodborne. People bought ps4 for uncharted, and will buy ps4 for spiderman, god of war, etc. If anyone wants these games they need a ps4. If anyone wants anthem or metro they don't need to buy a xbox.

If it requires signing in to xbox live it's obvious why it wont happen. They have a few titles that cross play with pc. Is there any game on xbox one that can play cross platform without the use of LIVE? COD from the windows store can't even play with other pc users.

There must not be many people to play with on xbox. xbox players love multiplayer but what to do if the games are empty? Play with ps4 owners from your xbox!

They release their games on windows store. Only quantum break released on steam, after the windows store version flopped. It was probably remedy that pushed for a steam release, since alan wake sold well on steam. (they had to self publish alan wake)

pc is an open platform that runs on windows. Microsoft only benefits from games from the windows store or LIVE or whatever it's called, which is a direct competitor to steam, GOG, etc. (not really) The windows store version of COD can't even play with other pc gamers. So pc gaming uses windows but Microsoft is only invested in the stuff on Windows LIVE.

The 360 launched with a 90 day warranty. Let's act like they didn't ignore the problem until it got so bad they had to do something, and call it stepping up and taking care of it's customers. There were forum threads about it on xbox site 1000's of pages long.

It has more games, not just jrpg. It has more games in about every category.

PS4 is actually beating xbox one in multiplayer games too.

It's funny how the windows store is trying to be like like apple, instead of being open which is what pc gaming is about. MS interest in pc gaming is about live and uwp, that's it.

Developers aren't going to make different textures or models for xbx. If they are developing the game for xbox 1, xbx, ps4, ps4pro, do you really think they will make separate assets just for xbx. Third party developers have no reason to. It will be using the same textures as the xbox 1 with a res bump. On pc, modders usually do that, but it's not like you can freely modify files on xbox. Maybe Microsoft can pay them to improve games. Why do you think xbox engineers are in a class of...

They were developing an xbox one version already. It's not the same as the pc version.

Do you think most pc developers will use uwp and not be able to sell their games anywhere but the windows store?

I think they are going to have to mess with the settings to "optimize" it for 4k and a decent frame rate. Probably like med settings on pc with some graphic options turned off.

No one cares about EA access. If that's something you use to show how awesome xbox one is, well I guess that's why the only thing xbox fans are excited for is a new console. How many games on xbox allow mods? How many games are cross play? Cross play with other networks, not between pc and xbox one on live. (xbox live is not able to play with other pc users)

Steam is DRM that is accepted by the majority of pc gamers. MS have added emulation of 360 games to xbox one. Not really the same thing.

Of course xbox has titles to play. It's just ps4 has a lot more to play. All the top games released this year have been on ps4, but not on xbox.

So the "BC" compatible games on xbox are emulated? Why are they calling it backwards compatible? If the the 360 disk doesn't play the game on xbox one than it's not really backwards compatible. You don't hear people saying pc is backwards compatible with old consoles.
