How would you use BC on this console? Don't you need the disk to verify you own the game? If this console can't do BC it's trash.
The thing is they both buy their hardware from AMD. Amd will have navi available this year I think so unless they launch like a year later they can't really have a more powerful console.

Microsoft, google, apple all take 30 percent from games sold on their store. I think consoles also take 30%. So why is it such a big deal that valve also takes 30%?

There's usually a shorcut to unlock near the boss in souls games so you don't have to go through the whole level
Android is the most used os in the world and does not have a problem with getting developers. Windows is used by businesses and desktop computers, many of which are pc gamers. If google came out with an operating system that can be used for pc gaming, they could take a lot of desktop users from windows.
open platform = anyone can make software for it
They supposedly were going to merge android with their desktop os. If they make a desktop os that doesn't suck, windows could be done for. Android is what windows used to be (open development platform) and no one wants to use uwp.

Why don't people complain about microsoft's games that are on pc and xbox, but don't have crossplay? These console makers (MS included) made their consoles closed systems. Crossplay was never talked about but now all of a sudden everyone wants it? Ask Microsoft or ea if you can use EArly access between xbox and origin.
Yeah surprisingly windows phone had some dedicated users, but less than 5 years after ms spent over 7 billion on Nokia, windows phone is dead. A lot of windows phone users used to say that there was no way Microsoft would kill windows phone.....not after they just spent 7 billion! I think if the next xbox continues to lose a lot of market-share than MS will consider dropping consoles.
If someone doesn't like the way epic has been doing these timed exclusives (for games that were supposed to go to steam), why would they support it?

It's not even the best mp game on xbox. It's 34 on the microsoft most played games list. In the 360 era HALO was always in the top 5 most played. Rainbow six siege, which also released in 2015 is #5. Destiny2, which people say failed, is at #10. Fallout 76 is #33

IOS is not a commercial product. It's the iphone and they ship like 40-50 million units every quarter. Retail price for it is about $1000 depending on the model. It was 3rd, but is not being outsold by 3-1 or 4-1 and is in a much bigger market. Xbox one hasn't shipped 50 million in it's lifetime and is being outsold 4-1 in the latest npd.

No Forza this year? It's probably going to be a launch title for the next xbox. HALO infinite is probably for next box also, and I bet the next xbox won't be putting their big games on gamepass from day one. (At least at the start of the next gen)
Of course MS is more interested in cloud infrastucture. It's their #1 money maker (not games) and their cloud servers are used mostly for non gaming stuff
