They didn't really develop much. It was AMD. They have their semi custom products that are used by consoles. Microsoft announced the xbox one x right after amd announced their new gpu,(probably got clearance sale price) polaris was already mature and all the assembly lines were rdy. Since global foundries isn't doing their 7nm stuff they probably just kept making xbox one x chips

xbox had marketing rights for ffxiii in the us. I saw a commercial when I was watching nba all star week and it only showed xbox logo. PS version outsold it like 3 to 1. This was on the 360 which wasn't selling like crap either.

Well compared to console that it used to compete with, it sells great. LIke 3-4 more software.
I think the price is low enough for most to use ssd now. 1TB ssd is $100 and a 2TB harddrive is $100.
MS failed with uwp, which would've forced devs to only be able to sell and update through windows store. PC gamers and apparently pc devs wanted no part of it. Since they also gave up on smartphones, uwp in useless. PC gamers know about windows store, they just don't use it. It didn't help that they blocked windows 7 users from using it (it probably wouldn't have mattered) and games like call of duty couldn't even be played with other pc gamers lol
Sure Microsoft doesn't mind if you buy there games on steam. They are perfectly happy paying 30% to them. The fact that they are going to put their games on steam goes to show what pc gamers think of windows store/xbox live on pc.
How come the lightsabers don't give off any light? Even in the EA star wars game the guy uses it to light up a dark cave. I guess if it is using frostbite it will support rtx cards.
A graphics card that cost the same as an xbox one will give much better performance. You can play play 4k with high detail instead of low. Xbox One X power graphics card is under $200.
Origin Access Premiere is pc only? What about the awesome ea access on xbox? Or do you have to get another sub for new ea games? If you want ubisoft games you can subscribe to them too now. Awesome. Next will be Activision or any other big publisher because they can come with a better games lineup than gamepass. Or maybe they'll skip xbox because games don't sell on xbox. PS4 sell 3-4 times more software. I think the value of gamepass is exaggerated because half the games are 360 or x...

not just japanese developers. These studios that have been bought will be expected to deliver games that sell. Microsoft have invested a lot of money and I don't think they will be happy if these new studios put out flops like microsoft game studios have been putting out this gen.

I think the main reason to upgrade to pcie4 right now would be if you want to run nvme ssd. Which is probably what the ps5, next xbox will be using. PC is the best gaming platform but playstation is the best console imo
There aren't many new games on gamepass at all. Majority of gamepass games are old games, and even if Microsoft releases their games on release date, it's going to only be 1AAA game and a few AA games per year at best. If you want to play the best games coming out, you will have to buy them anyway, especially multiplayer games which depend on player counts.
