I started laughing after only reading the second sentence.
Leaps and bounds is what Microsoft's HYPE would have a lot of people to believe about the gap between the Pro and the Scorpio. When it launches and comparisons are made, I think a lot of people riding this hype are going to find themselves very disappointed when they finally witness how close the performance gap between these two systems really are.
Its not going to be nearly as big of a gap a...
But Microsoft said only the Scorpio can do true native 4K.
Like I said before, when Scorpio launches, the gap is not going to be as significant as some people would like to believe.
@ the title
Only when they're getting their butt kicked royally.
70 vs 30
Ps4 vs XB One
Thatguy-310
The people disagreeing with you is hilarious.
If the PS4 averages 1.3 million a month with the numbers already at 47.4, that would make the remaining 2.6. Since the Pro is about to launch along with November and December being the holiday shopping season, covering 2.6 million is not even of question in 2 months. It could very well achieve that in one month.

and I guess Kinect was ready and didn't feel like a demo, right?
They simply didn't see VR coming is why he's saying that. And with Sony way ahead of them in launch, they are garnering a HUGE following as well as increasing PlayStation awareness with absolutely no way for Phil and his Xbox team to counter them other than selling the XB1 S as a BluRay player or hyping the Scorpio for late next year.
They said the same a...
Oh nooooo don't tell 'em that. Xbox fans might try to snipe Mark Cerny if this is true.
Definitely an issue on my side but mostly in cinema mode. I have one of the older cameras, too
The only one that doesn't believe in it or is pretending to not care about generation cycles is Microsoft because they are getting their butt kicked. So to divert from the thought, they tell you generations don't matter anymore. Its typical marketing.
Because Kinect was gimmick, people were hoping PlayStation VR to be a gimmick.
This is so desperate
It hasn't surpassed the PS4 in it's own region (gap is likely at 1.55 to 1.6 million for PS4 as it originally was at 1.8 around June 2016), and it has never won a single month globally -- putting THAT gap at a 20 million lead in the PS4's favor.
Where is it the best selling console again?
Yeah right...
Sounds like a somebody of a somebody had access to one and you're just reaping the rewards. LoL!
You butt hurt
@DarthJay
Sounds like a lot of butt hurt to me. You know dang well you haven't tried the PS VR. LoL! I know it must burn your biscuits that Sony saw the VR future coming years in advance.
@ FITgamer
That's exactly what's going to happen. Likely a lot of people are holding out for the Pro. But I think everything will start right back up once Sony’s first and second party began dropping again. Between VR, PS4 slim, the PS4 Pro and AAA exclusives dropping by years end, I don't see Microsoft's Xbox skirting by not nearly as easy before the year is out -- not even at those hobo price tags.
These headlines are pretty dumb, too. I...
I'd rather they get it right than someone get sick because they decided to rush it out.
@ moldybread
The only one that sounds scared is you, scared that PlayStation is expanding too rapidly.
PlayStation Now is just the beginning of PlayStation expanding. What about remote play? It is already capable of running on the PC. Just like the Vita or PSP, Sony simply have to turn this on where it works over the internet. Then you'll be accessing PlayStation 4 anywhere on the globe. And because Sony is behind remote play, this can be implemented...
This article is dumb.
This is PlayStation: http://www.sonyrumors.net/2...
Unless Microsoft can somehow shut those branches down, PlayStation isn't going anywhere no time soon and it will continue to expand BEYOND the game console and the PC
@ Death
PlayStation covers more than just video games with those branches expanding beyond the actual PlayStation console. So unless Microsoft is going to somehow acquire these branches some place else, Xbox alone is not going to prevent these branches from expanding throughout online capable devices.
To be the best you have to beat the best. At the end of the day, PlayStation is in an entirely different league of it's own.
