Wanna deal with piracy? Make games that don't suck. Make games that assure gamers that their dollars are being wisely spent. Reassure gamers that your game will have legs. How hard is it to get that across to these brain-dead developers? If your stuff's "the sh!t" -the sales will reflect that. With or without piracy.

How about, instead of controlling how we play just give us total access over the custom soundtracks and let us decide when to listen to it. It's not like everyone starts the game playing Custom Soundtracks: thus wasting dev-effort in their own music. I only turn on my own music when I'm tired of listening to their music. Not the other way around.

Definitely. It was a very poor comparison as lighting and different environments can drastically change the graphical requirements. It's borderline "cherrypicking".
I believe Crysis 2 looks better by far, but I'm all for fair comparisons. Not this "let's pick some random pictures from opposing games".
