I think assassinations are a waste of time. They slow down gameplay and only exist to inflate egos. What does a good 2-3 second assassination animation do against a quick 4-round tea-bag?
If they wanted to do Assassinations right: keep it all in First-Person instead of zooming out to 3rd Person. I hope there's an option to opt out of assassination techs and just simply hit the guy from behind as usual.

It's how the japanese roll. I was a bit disturbed already when in the MGS:PW demo, I was able to zoom in all the way until I saw Paz' undergarments. At first, I was "WTF?" -but I got used to it. That's how japanese do their stuff, just like how Americans and the UK like to see heads severed from their shoulders with the spinal-chord still attached. I don't think anyone can argue that this game was indeed dumbed down for the casual gamers, but I still think it's a fun game in its own right. However CT will forever be the apex in the series, with DA far above this game in terms of stealth.
I'd care more about Infinity Ward if they didn't backstab the PC Fanbase like they did and pretend that we're a bunch of idiots who couldn't handle a mouse to save our lives.

IT's gone up significantly since 2006. Which was the start of this-gen. What does this tell us? From 03-05 compared to 06-10: Gamestop made a 3.22x profit this gen compared to last-gen.

I thought Gears 2 did many things right. But the only part is the netcode in multiplayer. Other than that, I've had a blast. I can already name some of the stuff I love.
