wow wtf? People don't like Linux? /sad face.
I use Vista and it works great for me! Granted, it's a resource hog but I got the power to spare. I hope Windows 7 will be optimized for Solid State Disks.
I really hope people don't get too carried away with the graphics to forget gameplay. Last thing we need at KZ2's launch is a bunch of complaints about how KZ2 doesn't play like CoD4 or it plays just like CoD4 (ala Resistance 2)
Only to the Console world. In the PC World, CoD1's been a big hit since 2004, their expansions and the inevitable CoD2 which really spearheaded the franchise.
That's one drastic haul from the first Killzone. Killzone 1: there was no music whatsoever during gameplay. Only cut-scenes, main-menu, and the FAILED screen had any sort of music: so hearing this overhaul is quite surprising. I didn't mind that Killzone 1 had very little music: it kind of added to the "wartorn atmosphere" where the only things you hear are voices and gunfire.
If the previous game has any positive bearing, then I'm going to look forward to how the music...
In case anyone cares, this is the main Helghast theme that plays during the main menu in Killzone 1 that is referenced in the article.

I'm a huge supporter of new ways to play my games and I felt that if SIXAXIS was implemented properly: it would bring a new level of element. I was very used to the tilt-function for aiming your grenades and found it to be 2nd nature. Naturally I would also like games like Lair, and Folklore as well, but I'm disappointed that Uncharted 2 is ditching SIXAXIS. There was nothing bad about SIXAXIS to begin with, just poor developer execution.
Some chap recommended me a $30 Folklore c...
Oh I know. When I mean "beast", I mean it can play most PC games at max-quality 16:10. I would never dish out anything more than $1500. I don't mean the "beast" that would score about X-trillion 3D-Mark score now. That's just overkill. Didn't mean to mislead.
I wouldn't be worried. Sure VoD is great and all, but I'd rather pay a flat monthly fee for unlimited TV than the pay-as-you-go model that many VoD services that are currently around.
Seriously, who here almost threw the controller because a damn survivor just happened to walk into a group of zombies when you clearly, explicitly, voraciously told the ****ing survivor to GO OVER THE **** THERE....AWAY FROM THAT ****ING ZOMBIE GROUP AND INTO THAT ****ING CORNER SO I CAN ****ING COVER YOU, YOU GOD-DAMN RETARDED, BRAIN-DEAD SURVIVOR!!!!!!

Yah I agree with Mr. sun. -calm down.
Yah, I remember the Blackberry Storm. I had high expectations as well. Well...initially: I was hoping that the screen would be big, cause I have big hands. I'm sure the phone works well for some people, but I just need a bigger phone....heh
You guys do know that Mutley's post was a satire of the last time Sony made a "white" anything right? Most likely the White PSP, and the ad that followed it in Germany, or was it Belgium: I forget.
Anyway, here's the link: http://www.joystiq.com/2006...
There goes my purchase. I buy my games based on split-screen co-op and if games like Gears 2 can do it, I don't see why other games like RE5 can't. Oh well, Capcom: you just lost one customer.
I'd argue that CS and HL are one of the best modding communities around. You can frickin recreate a game!! Goldeneye: Source. Half-Life: Source?
Wow, that was kinda out of character Charmers. /=?
GrandTheftStreetcar is right. Unlike Home, Xbox Live requires you to pay a premium to game online period. if Home also required you to pay a premium to use the service to chat with others, then I can see your point of this "nickel-and-diming" scheme. Also, why overreact over virtual stuff anyways?
Home is like the many chat apps on PC: mainly IMVU. Don't hear them complaining about paying .50c for virtual ACU pants. Plus people will always find way to circumvent the sys...
True, but at least they're doing something about it regarding complaints, or maybe they realized that Vista was such a mess, that it would be fruitless to try and support. Don't forget that XP was initially not well-received at first.
