Aw, I preferred the EU Boxart. Of course I have no idea whether or not it's official. Click the button for details
Looks like people should be apologizing to LightningPS3, he's been saying that the PS3 has to drop its price the entire time and people laughed at that.
=D
Really? I thought it was fine. Especially for a new site. Cut em' some slack. It's not as if we have a high-degree of expectations for game journalism these days since virtually anyone can blog.
"Top 10 Ways to Tell if You Spend Too Much Time on Video Game Forums"
6. You call yourself a “real gamer”
When you you get angry at someone else’s virtual opinions on video games, you say the person’s “not a real gamer”. You make fun of people who don’t play games 24 hours a day in order to show off your opinion to a virtual community. A “Real Gamer” knows about everything. They know about video games both new and old. If you haven’t played every game of ol...
I agree to a certain extent that what you're doing can be ok, but personally we don't offer mod-services at our game shop. We will fix a botched mod job, but we won't offer any services to help our customers start modding their consoles. We believe that we shouldn't profit from other people's hard work and we always send a portion of our earnings on mod jobs to Team Jungle whenever we fix a botched mod. We do offer fan-mods and case swaps however.
Given that, I'm not saying you'r...
You're kidding me right? I still hear mines. However though I will acknowledge that the Lite-Ons are a bit quieter than the BenQs I get in the shop.
I ditched the Wii for 360 because I wanted games that catered to my interests. I can sit here and argue how Wii is made for the casual gamer that plays games 1-2 hours a weel and neglects the more traditional gamer that would dedicates websites to Zelda, however I would never even try to claim that the Wii isn't for gamers at all.
However, I respect all Wii-owners. They made their choice: I made mines when I decided to trade my Wii for a 360 to become a PS360 owner.
There it is. Move along people. This rumor is been officially "debunked"
I dunno, I'm enjoying Home for what it is. I find some guys. Start dancing and talking about video games. Then I invite them to the Bowling Alleys and we have a fun time there. We even had a political discussion while we were waiting for some lanes to open up. I'm having a decent time in Home.
Granted, I'd rather have some solid game support. One thing I will always say that makes XBL better than PSN is the fact that you can send game invites from any game and send out voice mess...
It's the only way to do Templar, Rico, and Evelyn justice.
In CS, if you're a jerk, then you get booted off the server and banned for life. In XBL, not much happens. However if you report the player, XBL will "Voice Ban" him.
Strangely, I agree.
I don't know alot of EU-based games that have alot of server issues, but US-based games always has some issue that can break the game.
Just look at Resistance 2.
Legally, you're correct and Nintendo has every reason to shut-down the modders, but beyond the legal bounds: Nintendo is only setting themselves up with bad PR.
Do you remember the public backlash when Microsoft shut down the modders that were developing a Halo RTS mod, just so Microsoft themselves could release their own Halo RTS? Also, do you remember when Epic Games sent their lawyers in on a random fan that just happened to create a one-of-a-kind Marcus Fenix Munny toy to giv...
It's not THAT hard to start OC'ing. But it's hard to keep a stable temp. I'm just a normal OC'er that has a Q6600 at 3Ghz with 4GB RAM at 1:1 FSB to keep things tight with timings, all on air-cooling. I don't have the time and money to achieve bar-none performance, simply getting more than my average dollar.
I won't consider myself an enthusiast either because I don't buy my equipment based on OC capabilities because companies have a policy against a certain threshold before warr...
The funniest bit about this article is almost every single story is related to Gamestop.
Did you even read the article? Or anything past the first story? I'm pretty sure this article is just making fun of the horror stories.
GameFLOP..I gotta use that one sometime!
I hope the gameplay gets a tweak for the better. The gameplay in Uncharted 1 felt....hmm "shallow" -it was solid, but I want the gunplay to have alot more "umph!". For one thing, I want to be to able to feel my bullets hitting the guy and I want the sound effects to back that up.
What's funny is that you're the only guy who thinks that.
The word "epic fail" is overused. According to Old-Wizard, anyone that uses the word "fail" spends too much time on VG Message Boards.
C'mon, it's only 2 days. I can think of worse things that "suck".
