The VGAs were nearly a complete waste of time.
-There's no THEME to the show. You need a THEME to put on an excellent show.
-The performances was just awful. They're catering to the stereotypical brainless gamer that plays CoD4 to look cool.
-The only reason GTAIV won GotY was because it sold alot, and I bet Gamestop had a hand in it as well. Those hundreds of used-copies don't sell themselves.

We need more SIXAXIS-based games or at least more SIXAXIS support in games. People have yet to understand the potential that is SIXAXIS.
Tilt-Reloading is just one of the key features that makes SIXAXIS worth having and it makes a difference once you get used to it.

It sucks that media bias can bring down such a great game like Lair. To me, the controls were perfect and the gameplay and mechanics were frantic. I'd normally agree with you on "blaming publishers and devs", but this has been going on since Day 1 of PS3's launch. 2-3 years now, I think it's time for Sony to start laying some ground rules. Forcing mandatory trophies is just step one. I believe Sony has great potential for outdoing the 360 in every area, but they're squandering it with all these inconsistencies. If Sony can't do well in the video game market, then start broadening the audience and advertise the PS3 as Media center!! That way Sony doesn't have to admit their gaming functions suck compared to the 360's unified structure, and at the same time: Sony can cover that nonsense up and avert people's attention to the finer things about PS3: namely the Media Center functions, which I think IMO is the best of this gen.

I hope the SIXAXIS features are mandatory. I feel that games like Lair got sold short because of pre-judice. But I would find it entertaining to see people try and hate on KZ2 for use of SIXAXIS. The way I see it - SIXAXIS is just an additional analog stick that you're going to have to learn to get by. And we need to see more SIXAXIS-influenced games to really see PS3-exclusive tech shine.

Here's a thought then. From a business prospective: image is everything. Sony's probably happy that they're turning some profit despite low sales numbers. However being in 3rd Place instills a bad image in the product and the company itself. Like LightningPS3: I will continue to say that Sony will forever be in 3rd Place unless they get a price-drop going on. $400 is still a pricey console in the end. Regardless of the fact that the PS3 is probably the biggest bang for the buck console. If PS3 was $200. You can expect 1.3 million sold in a month. And that's something even Patcher can predict.
