You've got Gears 2 on my 50 Cent!
I'm sure Bullet that even you know that fanboyism and media bias aren't the sole factors for 1Up's downfall. This isn't some crusade against the evilness that is Mcirosoft or anything some PS3 gamer might find glorious.
It's simply the magazines itself falling prey to the open-free world known as the internet. Why pay for a magazine when the internet provides that information free, and faster than magazines ever did. You'd read PSM's exclusive review on KZ2, but low and behold t...
You know, MGS4 is about 32GB of space. I don't think "struggle" is the appropriate word here. Knowing Microsoft: they might waive licensing fees for multiple discs to afford MGS4 to 360. We should learn by now not to underestimate Microsoft as they have proven they have the power to move mountains. Need I remind people of GTAIV, DMC4, and FFXIII?
Multiplatform confirmed perhaps.
I felt underwhelmed by both franchises being the fans of the first of both iterations back in the PC/PS2 days. I enjoyed GRAW1/2 and R6V1/2 however the missing factor that I'm sure many veterans will want back is the ability to control multiple squads or at least have a bunch of AI soldiers giving you backup. Both games make the Ghost Squad and Six feel like "godly squads" -sending you in as only a 3-4 man team to wipe out an obviously bigger force.
The lack of realism ...
Magna Carta is weird....I tried getting into it, but I guess the art-direction was too much for me to handle. I can't really get into the storyline. But I guess Japanese people think differently obviously if only-Japan is getting the sequel.
I really don't see much of a difference other than a palette swap.
If you look closely on the box.
"Number of Players: 1 (online 2-32)"
"We've got a non-believer in our midst! His blood must be purged!"
I usually stop playing a game after I've collected 80% of the trophies/achievements. I'm replaying Dead Rising again because I only had 520Gs. I usually stop playing after I have at least 800Gs or I've collected most of the SP stuff. I'm not big on MP achievements/trophies anyways, so I make compromises sometimes to ditch the 800G mark and stay around 600-800Gs.
..hmm am I becoming an Achievement/trophy whore? I like to play for Achievements/trophies, but only go for the ones tha...
Yur not alone there. I got a friend who does the same thing. Sad really. But he is "my" friend, so I grin and bear it. He's a pretty poker player.
Bandoiler battery packs FTW?
This isn't even a competition. Digg's articles are alot more amusing than these editorials, and poor flamebait articles. Plus you can't keep contributors in check when they obviously make up titles and censor information to drive flame wars. Don't forget the fact the Report section is near useless when an article reaches 1000' and it just happens to have the "Xbox 360" and "Playstation 3" tags: when it was just an article about Gears 2.
N4G is a joke compared ...
Yes, but "will it blend?"
They were disappointed by MGS4's shoddy plot devices: nanomachines? c'mon. And the PowerPoint styled cut-scenes isn't MGS-esque: which is weird. MGS4 wrote itself into a huge hole mainly because of MGS2. There's a clear controversy as to whether MGS4 really did deliver in the story: SPOILERS BELOW(oh like it matters now...)
-BnB Unit felt "tacked on" -never really carried their own weight in the story.
-Liquid Ocelot (MGS2 Retcon)
-Big Mama's involvement in ...
oh god no.....
NEW MODEL PLEASE!
I move a motion to ban Metacritic articles from N4G.
Ooohh..I'm not touching this subject...
