Sounds like it has a lot of potential! Looking forward to checking this one out.

Not saying you shouldn't feel the way you do about this particular review/reviewer but I wouldn't give a whole lot of stock to Gamespot and IGN.

I used to follow their reviews and had respect for them but last couple of years has truly shown me just how seriously bias and "bought" out they can be.

I'm not saying every reviewer and every single game but you best believe that video game journalists get bought out a lot more often than most...

Now all they need to do is learn how to properly port to PC.

It is seriously messed up for all the PC fans who may enjoy Ubisoft games that every single PC release has horrendous optimization.

There are no legitimate excuses when you have the size of Development teams and amount of money that Ubisoft have for game budgets. Other smaller, less funded devs do a much better job making PC ports than Ubisoft do. This is a major problem IMO.

That is one of my Brothers favs in the series. I had it for the Dreamcast. Ah, memories. :)

I agree.

what I think would be even better -

Give Resident Evil 2 the same make over that they did with the first Resident Evil with modern hardware advantages and throw it in with this new release.

Even as a solo release I would be interested in buying a res 2 updated remake.Day one purchase for me.

If we are talking about console graphics king then I do not have an argument but overall? including PC? I cannot even respect a subjective opinion on this one. art style sure, maybe but not technical,no way.

I cannot wait for the witcher 3 to come out. it is going to blow Infamous out of the water, console and PC...Witcher 3 PC version? LMFAO. Nothing stands a chance.

It seems like there are a lot of fan boys, I hate even having to write that word but yeah,it i...

Did I really just read that shit! Infamous is now the reigning graphics champ! LMAO. Better than Crysis 3? gtfo.

Some of you people are either delusional,pre-teens or Sony/Microsoft plants.Or all of the above.

Some of the most asinine, outright B.S. drivel and borderline Idolatry on this site is mind-boggling.

No.

Singleplayer open world RPG game,by your lonesome,no multiplayer.there,I fixed it for you.

If I honestly thought they could pull it off without sacrificing the single player then I would be all for it.

They need to concentrate 110% on just making a great Fallout RPG in an openworld first before anything else. There are so many games now where you can play with a buddy or have pvp.

They have already gotten a ton of shit,so...

It appears VRAM is the main culprit when it comes to spec lies. That same DSOG article if you scroll down the comments -
"This article is about the system RAM, not the video RAM ;). VRAM requirements are also 'fake' as Ubisoft recommended 2GB of VRAM (when in fact you need more than 4GB of VRAM or even 6GB if you want to have TXAA plus Ultra textures)"

DAMNNNN! Hopefully their will be a patch down the line along with drivers that can help out some ...

Believe it my friend. I am not console bias - ***warning warning*** lol.

I like Remedy, always have. From the first Max Payne series to Alan Wake,Just finished Alan Wake on PC a few weeks back actually. Great game.

I've always felt that they did graphics very well too. the Max Payne games looked great for their respective release periods.I never got the chance to play Alan Wake on the xbox but the PC version looked phenomenal.

They are on...

Well 1.)the first game,Metro 2033,was very unoptimized. 2.) the game has some of the best graphics out there. It would still be an accomplishment if it ran 1080p @ a stable 60 FPS. 4 year old game or not.

Agreed. One of the better FPS games to come out in the last couple of years. I have not finished Last Light yet, about halfway through but I beat Metro 2033. Both games are absolutely amazing with some of the best atmosphere of any game, any genre that I've ever played. Highly recommended.

The series distances it's self quite well with unique gameplay features in the FPS genre. Ammo for currency, gas masks and filters along with a better story than a majority of shooters...

Even semi-open world would be awesome. I love the way the games already are but if they can bring what makes the Metro games unique and atmospheric in an open world.count me in!

I am more interested in what they did with Metro 2033. I am assuming it has the improvements and upgrades that Last Light had? 2033 is supposed to be bundled with this correct?

Exclusive pre-order bonuses along with day one/on the disc dlc ,have become a cancer that is slowly destroying gaming imo. "Destroying" is a harsh word but seriously,it is absolutely horrible how publishers and some game developers push these kind of "incentives" via retailers.

The sad part is,that there are many gamers out there who continue to feed into these practices.otherwise the publishers would begin to reduce, then eventually they'd stop doing i...

I am wondering the same thing my friend. I would be content with half of that at least,ya know? Show 45 behind closed doors and give the fans around half with NO SPOILERS lol, 20 minutes of solid gameplay would make me happy.

Along side Fallout 4 (or whatever it will be called), Divinity: Original Sin, Wasteland 2...Witcher 3 is my most anticipated game.

Honestly,it seems like there is way too much hate, high expectations and false sense of entitlement going around these days when it comes to gaming.

For a hobby that is supposed to primarily be about having fun, creativity, relaxation and escapism, you would think most of us would be a Lil bit more chilled out and respectful to one another.

I've had more than a few times where I had to force myself through a certain game, borderline futile attempt after atte...

Before anyone misconceives what I was trying to say right here -

"tv/monitor setting tweaks for the most part, maybe not exact but certainly it will help.

That is prob. the easiest and most simplified way of showing a diff. between quality t.v. & monitor screens and not so good screens. The ability to have inky dark blacks AND still have excellent shadow detail along with nice looking accurate colors.

LCD tends to be more vibrant yet ...

Agreed. One major point that needs to be driven home is that a lot of these comparison articles fail to show exact in-game camera angle and scene. etc.

To add to what you said above - the main difference looks to be AA and any noticeable "difference" between the two,say the more washed out look on the ps4 shots can easily be rectified with a few minutes of tv/monitor setting tweaks for the most part, maybe not exact but certainly it will help. That is prob. the easie...

I think that is more than likely because from what little I have seen of comparison shots, PS4 loos like it has better anti-aliasing implemented. Xbox One may appear sharper but I bet it also has more jaggies.

The game is a looker imo. Not crisis 3 good but it is by no means a bad looking game.RAGE still looks better than a lot of modern games out there.

It runs on a modified, supposedly better looking and performing version of id tech 5,the engine RAGE uses.
