They've found fixes for the "Red Line of Death", yes, but users experiencing the Blue Light of Death are only successful in exchanging their faulty console directly with Sony or their retailer.
And Killzone in it's entire lifetime will struggle, with all it's tech, to match the quality of your average Nintendo first party IP.
All the advanced tech in the world doesn't automatically make a game good or bad. Hell, even Killzone Mercenary has a higher Metascore than Shadowfall and it isn't using that same tech.
I know the Wii U is struggling, but it's pretty much guaranteed that all the first party games are going to be of a h...
I gotta be honest, I really don't give a hoot what MTV thinks about games. Maybe I'm too old but the association between MTV and games is just not there for me.
That sucks.
When browser based gaming was still in it's infancy, Quake Live basically invented the idea of the facebook game, a browser game connected to a social network. They didn't actually use websites like facebook as a platform and that could be a point against them.
Now they're ditching browsers? What's the point of it then? I already have all the Quakes offline. It's like the core of the whole idea is being abandoned.
@Becuzisaid
Sony doesn't make 100% profit on games or game accessories either. Sony definitely doesn't make $60 on any physical games (even exclusives) because they don't sell them for $60, the retailers do. Sony gets a 'cut' off each game which also has its own profit margin next to how much it cost to put out.
If: Total Cost > Total Sales = No profit.
That formula can be applied to any commercial product.
The second mouse gets the cheese.
Obviously I don't know what I'm talking about right? That's why no one's posted a link to where I can buy a physical copy of Mass Effect 1 for PS3. :/
Well then EA obviously paid for the publishing rights, didn't they?
The point remains that EA never made any claim of Mass Effect not appearing on PS3.
Basically, Titanfall won't make as much money as Battlefield or Call of Duty even if it turns out to be the Second Coming of Shooters, because it's a new IP and that's expected.
So EA stands to make more money from Titanfall if it's exclusive because Microsoft is paying that difference. When Titanfall 2 is due, EA will look at how popular the first game was and weigh up how much money can be made from making it multiplatform vs how much Microsoft is willing to...
EA is publishing Titanfall; When did EA ever say Mass Effect wouldn't be on PS3?
Microsoft published Mass Effect 1 and it was never published on PS3. It's only available through the Mass Effect Trilogy which was EA's only way around it, but they will still never publish Mass Effect 1 on PS3 by itself because they can't.
Similarly, if Microsoft were publishing Titanfall on Xbox One, it would never get published on PS3 and that would be an adver...
Nah, there's so much more Rockstar could do.
I would like to see Manhunt 3 with a decent control scheme and really expansive gameplay mechanics and unique situations. I think the toughest challenge is just that Manhunt is too violent for mainstream media, there's no two ways around it. Rockstar could barely get away with the torture scene in GTA 5 without people bitching and moaning about it. A new Bully would also be cool and personally, I'd like to see a new ...
As a fan of Halo, I do get the point the author is trying to make.
Why is this out of this world, sci-fi adventure so conservative with it's weapon designs? Why does Halo 4 have three different scoped, semi-auto rifles, belonging to three different species from three different corners of the galaxy that effectively shoot the same, but nothing that can shoot a black hole inside someone's pants? But it's worth noting that Equipment and Armour Abilities play a big ...
Good point, I hadn't thought of that. The colours would make a difference in Split Screen gaming as well. Geez, I never considered that such a small change could make it such a personal experience.
I suppose Microsoft had always planned for multiple users per Xbox One so this makes sense.
I would actually love to see a Heavenly Sword sequel. I felt that it's a shame it never got more love. Enslaved 2 would also be cool especially if it's next gen because that could mean Ninja Theory would have it on Unreal Engine 4 and I'm anxious to see what that engine is capable of.
I'll be disappointed Capcom doesn't follow up on the DMC reboot, but I would be even more disappointed if they didn't go back to classic Devil May Cry and do it right....
This is kinda weak.
I agree that if it's a story trailer they should focus on exciting the audience about the story but a game trailer is a marketing pitch at it's core and at the end of the day we're all just happy to see more of a game.
What really irks me is how giving a two paragraph opinion is now considered journalism or news. This is blog or twitter material. It's not like Crytek pulled a Gearbox/Randy Pitchford and hyped the world...
Not only does it look better but its also customizable along with the whole dashboard. Nice touch. It'll look really cool to see the Xbox One switch between players and change the dashboard colour on the fly.
I gotta agree with krazykombatant, people have been predicting Nintendo's downfall literally since they started and I'll bet any amount of cash you like against your prediction that 5 years from now Nintendo will only make software.
Aside from the fact that Nintendo is so wealthy they can afford to make losses for the next five years, historically speaking, Nintendo's 1st party software is what shifts its hardware. An Apple i-device as a gaming machine is relian...
@joecanada Halo has in fact broken 11 Million.

Sigh, couldn't they just keep making Mashed for download?
Why do you keep making the same comment on these posts? Troll much? Also, Yoshida hasn't been "cheerledering" and then hiding. He's made public comments about all the most popular PS4 news good or bad.
