Your clearly speaking out of lack of knowledge of the scene. Google Starcraft in South Korea as the definition of gaming as a sport, a televised sport at that.
eSports is here to stay. Say hello to League of Legends by Riot Games, Dota II, and MLG in the United States. Might wanna start researching it now, there's more than enough information to prove you wrong.
Really, really looking forward to this game. Its touting real clan support, which is far more than any late shooter does. Not to mention the developer has been really good with communication on their site.
Just wait till they release Star Wars Battlefront. All the haters will flock right back to them. I've given EA the middle finger salute after the launch of BF4.

Cost effective is not something Microsoft does in favor of the consumer so I wouldn't get your hopes up.
He's also partnered with the Oculus Rift no? I wouldn't blame him for not coming out and saying how awesome the Sony VR is.
For the disagree's that are sure to come... I'm not saying Sony's VR is awesome, or that it will be awesome, clearly pointing out the obvious.
I absolutely understand, and agree. But here in is my point - we've got a game - Titanfall - that didn't require coding for a single player, yet is missing key aspects of the multiplayer component. Obviously doesn't break the game or anything, but its a feature that should be included.
Glad they added it for gamers, but my point still stands - for ALL games - that key features should be included and we as gamers need to start demanding them in our purchases.
Its not really a plus if it should be included day one. My point is over time developers and publishers are degrading the finished product and features of said product because we allow them too. I never said the game looks bad, or plays bad, and I HOPE people are enjoying it. But the fact remains my statement was to all games, but this article was about Titanfall.
Or someone fed up with multiplayer games lacking clan support, or party support, which is a huge factor in playing online games with friends.
I never said it did. I'm talking any game that has a major online component or touts that component of their game. You brought up Shadowfall, I didn't. This article was about Titanfall.
Careful, Microsoft is blowing their load right now. Sony has the games, it has the studios. We saw this with every Playstation Console, especially recently with the PS3. While it may be 'dry' for some right now, its not for others. Games are subjective in terms of if they are worth it or not.
But history has shown Microsoft didn't have the same great games list that Sony had during the 360/PS3 so don't hostile about it.
I really hope everything is getting their enjoyment out of this game, but shit like this really makes me scratch my head. It's an only only game, no SP, but yet something as simple and common as custom loadout names couldn't be included at launch? I guess they aren't charging for it as DLC or anything, but some shit really should just be included from the get go. IE
Custom loadout names
Clan support
Ability to setup clan wars against other clans (p...
This.
Doesn't matter the game or community, it happens. Starcraft had scandals with match fixing, and team "managers" shafting potential players out of money. This stuff happens in all sports tho.
eSports is huge. Starcraft alone is a sport in South Korea. Google Evil Geniuses gaming for what is probably the most financially blessed team in the U.S. EGHuk easily makes 6 figures.
Is this going to prevent the ability for players to do clan wars? If so thats complete garbage.
Yeah, problem is hitting it once is often times a recording of something long before that last 15 minutes. I've even had it stop just shy of what I wanted, but was only like 12.5 minutes in length. The really crappy part is that when I go to edit the video the pic for the video is exactly what I intended to record, but that footage is non-existent in the video recording. Hopefully there is something they can do to fix it.
If I'm wrong I'm fine with that, but I was pretty certain they said demo's for all PS4 titles.
Wait a minute. Didn't Sony say there would be Demo's for all games on the PS Store for PS4? Lie? I'm a Sony supporter but are you kidding me? I'm positive they said demo's for all PS4 titles.
@Gamer2013
Posting on N4G doesn't make me a fanboy, it makes me someone who likes following gaming news and takes the time to post on articles I read. You are just taking the chance to assign label someone.
Your opinion and yours alone. Better online is subjective. I said PS4 has better hardware, and that is a proven fact.
Deny, deny, deny and if all else fails deny.
So far this generation is doing well for eSports. It's not either consoles fault, with the addition of being able to record stuff right from the console it has helped. The developers and publishers however are failing. That being said its always been easier to do this stuff on PC, but console games will get there.
Middle finger salute to DICE & EA for putting an 'eSports' mode in BF4 - ie Defuse, while not actually making any way to do clan wars or jump into a...
