As much as I don't care for the game you are spot on, not to mention it is still a huge MLG game.
Gotcha, thanks for the reply.
Doesn't the game still lack private matches? If so that kinda seals the deal right there.
Also, I was under the impression that the standard PvP matches make everyone equal, regardless of level or gear and that Iron Banner matches were there for the people looking to utilize their level and gear bonuses? Can someone clarify that?
thx
That being said, there was a time when patches weren't available. Ala Nintendo days, Super Nintendo etc. Developers and Publishers alike knew they had once chance to win the customer over and their game better be right. Were there still bugs and glitches... sure, but they weren't typically game breaking. That stuff had to be solved before it went to the customer or you'd have no chance of winning them back by a simple patch on release day.
I've only played like two games on it to test it, one was Dungeon Keeper. I've got a 25mb up/15 dl connection and never experience lag when I'm playing. That being said when using PS Now I had some latency in Dungeon Keeper. The graphics were fine and the latency, little as it was, wouldn't keep me from trying more single player games, but I wouldn't attempt a shooter in it, especially if MP was involved.
I haven't tested other games because I played D...
Just a heads up Sony has said they do not handle pricing, its up to the publisher. Obviously, in regards to KZ3 Sony would be, but generally speaking they've said its up to the publisher.
Define 'beginning'. Because in the article I didn't see how long that focus would last, which leads me to believe that it'll last until Facebook see's a need, desire, or usage figures showing people using it for something more than gaming to justify an immediate change of focus.
The fact that Facebook doesn't create nor publish the vast majority of the games that users here seem to go after tells me that gaming isn't their primary reason to purchas...
I'd be excited except for how much negative stuff I've read about DayZ in regards to game issues, glitches, bugs etc. Sounds like an Alpha that isn't going anywhere and now they've got more on their plate with a console version.
I could be wrong, but wasn't there an article awhile back about Dean leaving the project with other people because he wasn't getting anywhere and it would be better for the game if he did? Maybe I'm thinking wrong.
These publishers giving these high prices need to be shown that they won't be tolerated. As much as I'd like to see a service like this succeed I don't want it under these high prices.
Sony has said they do not set the prices, and that they are up to publishers. So if you have free time your best bet would be to not rent the titles, and also email those publishers.
I'm pretty indifferent about the whole thing. On one hand I see people's issue, especially when compared to the AI voice of Cortana or Claptrap, but on the other I think its fine, especially if Bungie was going for that direction for the robot from a future/alien being. Also can't imagine how it would be to be the actor reading lines from an over the top game script and asked to get into character and be stoked about it lol. Dunno, its fine imo, neither great nor terrible... just ...
Nice dude. The game is a blast and can't wait till it releases. If you don't have a team/clan on PS4 then hit us up, Digital Kings Gaming @ http://digitalking.enjin.co... - We've got a 14 player roster so far, and most of those have been on the team for nearly a year.
When we see the numbers then I will believe that. Otherwise it's simple subjective PR/marketing. Gamestop says they are flying off the shelves. That could mean they sell 5 more units a day than they were before, but with that statement they create the impression that you should buy because they are selling quick. Sales are good for Gamestop so why not put a positive outlook on something.
I'm not saying this is the case for sure, but until I see numbers I'm skeptic...
Yeah kinda my thought too. Calm before the storm kinda thing.
I'd agree with some of what you said to an extent, except for the fact that Sony has been pretty quiet and it could be the calm before a storm.
Keeping my hopes in check tho. I'd also not put to much stock in them talking about sales for to long, if at all. The world knows exactly where the PS4 stands in sales so they don't need to put up numbers to drum up interest.
Jaffe lied all the way up until the point he walked out on stage. I don't really care if MM is there or not but until you see it take it with a grain of salt is my motto.
Agreed. Best example is that FPS games absolutely suck on mobile devices. I don't care who you are. You will never be as good on touch controls as a person with an actual controller. I have an iPad and have tried to really get into them and I can't. Its not the same. You need a controller.
@Psyxon
Yes, in fact it does suck. The controls suck for certain types of games. If you enjoy FPS games with touch controls, then sure, thats fine, you enjoy it, bu...
I'd like a code if anyone has one to spare. Going out on a limb here but I'd love to try it lol :)
Great thanks.
From any XBox owners who have played this... is it full of microtransactions or is it genuinley a good game? sorry spelling sucks.
Thanks :)
I'm sure both consoles offer exciting experiences for gamers in general. Especially considering games are games, if they are good it doesn't matter what console they are on they will be fun in their own right.
I simply avoid, and have avoided an Xbox since the original one because I disagree with a vast majority of things Microsoft does as a company, and how they act. This is not saying Sony is perfect, but I personally see a large difference between how the two opera...
