I love Sony but...

Excited for the update :)
@syrinx
My comment regarding the review sites was in general rather than directed at one specific site, or even the one writing this article. That being said their 5/10 is a rare score for the game considering all the other scores.
My point about JackFrags comments regarding all this still stands.
I'll even go on to add that it blows my mind how much coverage this issue is getting, as warranted as it is, yet look at all the game review sites that gave BF4 high marks, like 7 or 8 and above, and it was complete trash on release.
What the hell did you review sites get to keep your mouths shut?
Lot of hate going on against some of these YouTubers and JackFrags did an excellent video on his argument against articles like this, or the rabbid people attacking him on his comments page.
I'd highly recommend watching it here: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I'd even go as far to say that if what JackFrags says in his video in true, which he notes the only thing wrong he did ...
Lemme put my shocked face on... oh wait.
When you have no faith in EA or DICE anymore its much easier to not get to excited over something being jacked up on release. Maybe we'll see a completed version of BF4 by the end of the year.
Create a trash product and see if it doesn't affect future sales. Word of mouth helped prevent numerous customers from being scammed by a rushed BF3 that was completely broken.
You reap what you sow EA.
Not to mention its a new gen, and it is fairly expensive switching.
I actually laughed at this announcement. They are giving us nothing. We're getting crap already in the game to try and make us feel better, instead of actually doing something for us because we couldn't play a product we paid real money for, for over a month.
Call me crazy, but I don't see how I'm getting anything here. Player Appreciation would be telling me you are either refunding my premium entirely and I get to keep it, or giving me $10 back in PSN store ...
Typical PR non-sense. Did we really expect him to admit that EA rushed DICE in order to beat CoD to the store shelves.
Whats even more pathetic is how the article notes he goes on to state the problems they are having couldn't have been forseen because they only happen in large scale situations.
Interesting, I'm pretty sure they could have opened a BETA up to PS+ users, XBox LIVE Gold users or something, long before the game release and got a very la...
Then gamers/consumers need to show them it won't be accepted by not purchasing the games. The best way to show EA that this will not be tolerated is to hold of on any future purchases of EA games until they hit a discounted rate or the reviews of them have shown issues have been fixed. Or at the very least by it used so they don't get the money.
Its the only way.
Good for the people that haven't bought em yet.
I deleted my previous text entry because it was merely anger at EA for BF4 and didn't deserve a post in this thread.
Agree. I think there is so much hype for a couple of reasons:
1. Its from a well known developer who has proven themselves already.
2. Its not tied to just one platform so the vast majority of gamers can enjoy it.
I'm really looking forward to it. My only concern with the game is that the public events will quickly get boring, ala Defiance, which also had public events and they quickly lost their appeal.
This game has caught me by surprise and is a nice little gem. So far my best is Day 14 and I made a really silly, arrogant mistake, when I died. Lookin forward to more game time :)
I love the disagree's by the way, you 'gamers' must like the shaftings you've gotten in the past.
Consumers have every right to be wary. Microsoft & EA just got caught paying YouTubers for quality reviews, or to avoid putting a negative light on stuff wrong with their games.
At the end of 2014 we see huge title releases in CoD: Ghosts and BF4 and Ghosts got pretty low scores from actual gamers and BF4 is missing clan support for a game known for multiplayer.
We keep getting rehashed garbage that isn't complete at release. Damn straight we are maki...
My only hope for all of these games as that they come out completed instead of what gamers have been getting. Any of these that touts competitive multiplayer better have clan support.
"missing the 2 most promising" is a subjective statement.
Troll somewhere else.
Reviews really need to start holding developers accountable for buggy/glitchy games like this one. The game was unplayable, and while its playable now, it still has a bunch of issues. I understand a review is a personal opinion, and therefor, rather objective, but with all the glitches and issues BF4 has had it is no where near what an 8.5 game should be.
I didn't use Home much but I grow tired of people like you knocking a service that didn't cost you anything and others enjoyed.
When they are showing clear and strong signs of going to a more online based structure (Playstation Now) a device like this is needed.
I look forward to playing PS4 games in another room of my house without having to move my PS4 to that room, or own a second PS4. Not to mention if VitaTV runs Playstation Now.
Its another step toward their goals obviously.
Battlefield 4 - making rubber banding a standard.
Remember the problems with Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 the next time EA/DICE try to sell you their game. Which just happens to be Star Wars Battlefront. I wonder how many people will just forget how bad they hated all of this crap when it comes out.
