Goes back to my point, the 'add on' will always be less than it coulda been because they'll want to maximize profit on each upgrade.
Regardless if upgradeable consoles were to "work" I don't like the idea and I don't see it being good for consumers. These companies are in the business to make money, and I don't fault them for that, but there is an underlying concern that these upgrades won't be consumer friendly.

I love the idea of VR and am looking forward to games for it... in the future. I just feel like right now everything is gonna be on rails for the most part. I also haven't really seen any of the demo's, besides the Eve game or w/e, that jumps out at me as possibly awesome.

I don't disagree that phones can't reach the same level of graphics as consoles, nor that it is possible to play decent games on them.
There however is absolutely no substitute for competitive play with a control or mouse/keyboard that will ever make playing on a phone comparative.

To each his own, and thats fine if this isn't the game for you. It doesn't have to be and I hope Ubisoft recognizes that. We don't need every game to be the same.
I never got into the older R6 games either. I mean I played them but didn't consider myself a huge fan. I really, really like Siege tho and I play it more than the vast majority of other games I own or played in the past.

Those are 2 of, if not the most important, need to know things bout the vast majority of products out there for people and since we don't know what I don't find the article appropriate. It has an opinion on price.
Game took me completely by surprise. I absolutely love it. I'm also fine with it being as is, even if it doesn't draw more people, because what I don't want is a mass of CoD players flooding the game and Ubisoft forums demanding CoD like changes.
They will be adding free maps. All content is reportedly going to be free. Well, funded by those people who choose to buy custom colors or w/e for their guns and the season pass that only gives them access content a week sooner than others.
Ubisoft said they do not want to split the community with DLC packs so it'll all be free.
The real money for skin unlocks is for cosmetic stuff only and has no impact on the game. Its the same thing League of Legends does and they make a fortune. I've got no problem with it.
I was gonna wait till it dropped in price but I kept wanting that feeling I had during beta so I dropped full price on the game today. Not a single regret.
I think I'm going to pick it up when the price drops a bit. Just can't justify $60 at what I'm seeing as available content right now. At $40 I probably wouldn't have batted an eye. I really liked the BETA from the limited time I had with it.
Lotta people have headsets they are just to busy talking in party chat. It sucks. I've got buddies who only wanna use party chat and it kills me because you miss meeting some cool people who actually wanna coordinate as a team.
I ended up deleting the BETA early because I just wasn't enjoying it. I couldn't put my finger on it but it just didn't pull me in. I'll readily admit it could be some bias from the botched releases of BF3 and BF4 making me slightly angry, but on the flip side of that I was excited just for the fact it was Star Wars.

Play UFO Defense on PC if you can. It can be beyond frustrating at times but it was awesome as a turn based game back in the day. Still is imo.

It does if they start pushing devs to keep upping game quality to match the latest upgrade and pushing users on the original hardware to have to upgrade do to spec requirements.
