Would have been nice if it wouldn't have kicked me out of the multiplayer match I was in when it decided I HAD to update. Bleh.
Been enjoying my PS4 since day 1. I wish they'd fix the issue with the share button not working consistently (ie in BF4 when you hit share and it doesn't record the full previous 15 minutes or you miss what you wanted), but I'm sure that will be resolved eventually.
I don't have a ton of times to play games due to work and family life so the drought some people complain of isn't there for me. Don't Starve, Resogun, BF4, and Knack have been plenty for m...
Better to just wait until a more respected, and trusted source, releases numbers. No point in even speculating if the VGCharts report is remotely accurate.
Can anyone confirm how the weapons feel? They look completely like CoD in terms of no recoil and laser accurate. I haven't played it so I'm judging it off of personal opinion based on the video's I've seen.
Utter shameless disrespect for the consumer. In regards to the article and his response, of course he is going to say it has been a success. He didn't provide any statistical data or facts to support that, because its a PR spin. Even if EA acknowledged prior to release that the game was broken and they didn't expect to sell as much as BF3, then any amount of sales over that expectation would be a "success".
The fact that he isn't willing to admit the gam...
I'm a pretty big Sony fan, but I'd agree with this. I mean its a PR win to say they are generally sold out, while you are hoarding the supply for an upcoming release in your home territory. Japan is a sure win for them as well so works out for them in the end.
I have no doubt the console is selling well still, numbers show that, but this is a PR statement at its best.
They need the hit to the pocket book, and I hope consumers provide that much needed reality check. I'm tired of micro-transactions, and the intentional release of broken games. If a company as big as EA takes a pocket book hit by consumers refusing to purchase their product then other publishers will take note.
I agree with you, but I think you are making the assumption that people who are ragging on BF4 are jumping ship to CoD. I've been ragging on BF4, and will continue to do so, but only because I can't get my money back. I didn't jump ship to CoD, because to me its worse than BF, but I am looking forward to something else, whether it is PS2 on the PS4 or H-Hour when it comes out next year.

Doesn't this come out in March? If so I'd argue it isn't a BETA to begin with, not in the real sense. It's the same crap EA does with Battlefield. A beta a month before release (if thats accurate), isn't a BETA. Its a glorified demo with the word BETA used to make gamers feel like they are a part of possible pre-release changes.
Have a bubble.
The only thing you need to know is how to pay real money. I downloaded this hoping for the best, what I got was a clear view of a map that screamed how much I had to pay to get through it. This game doesn't come close to allowing to outright enjoy a game, free to play or not, it's insane how bad this game is a money grab.
We as consumers determine what's fair. Don't pay for this.
When they make nothing initially they will start dropping the price. Everyone likes to bitch on this site about developers and incomplete, broken, over priced content, but they need to follow it up with real action.
Developers and publishers like to tout how financially difficult it is to break even, then they better make sure their product is with it. We aren't their piggy bank. We are c...
Hahaaha lmao. Whatever Microsoft, whatever.
There's just such a fine line between F2P and P2W that makes it hard to accept them. Not to mention single player titles that are F2P, which is a great way to try a new experience that you may not previously try, but the entire game is typically buried under microtransactions and if you were to pay for the "full experience" you end up paying far more than the typical $60 game cost because they know they can get it out of you.
Very, very few games get the F2P mod...
I have a hard time believing this. The first thing I want to point out is that he refers to EA lowering projections due to weakness in current generation software. This could be because BF4 was a complete cluster fuck out of the gate, and word of mouth did a lot of damage to that game. Also consider people are just getting tired of EA's crap, and Madden isn't doing them any favors either as its getting stale.
Additionally, consumers are a bit to blame, for the consta...
LMAO. Now it's for us. Hahahahahaahahahaah
It isn't the same. OnLive sold you games that you could own but they had in their disclaimer they could close down the servers within like 2 or 3 years if they wanted, making your ownership worthless.
Sony isn't selling you whole games with this, it's a rental service. Imagine if Gamefly was doing this and you didn't have to wait for games in the mail... People would eat it up. This is just netflix for games.
That is one way of looking at it, and until new games are put on the service I wouldn't blame you for not subscribing.
Personally, I purchased the PS4 in order to play the newest games, and also have access to 64 man servers on BF4, along with party chat etc. I sold my PS3 to help cover the transition cost and missed out due to lack of time on playing many games. This service will allow me to play those games without having to have an older console laying around taking up...
Thats pretty impressive considering how amazing the PS2 sold. Great time to be a gamer.
