EA execs have to be laughing their asses off right now.

"Look, we were able to push BF4 to the masses as broke as it was, and they still threw money at us, it doesn't matter how it turns out they'll buy it".

I hope for XBox owners and purchases of this game that you really get a game worth your money, I really do, I just have no faith in anything out of EA anymore.

This game looks interesting but I don't understand why everyone is supposedly so stoked about AI in their multiplayer. I mean really? Bots have only been good for one thing in multiplayer for as long as I can remember and thats filling the void of a player while waiting for more real players to join.

Unreal Tournament did this. It worked fine, for what it was intended.

In todays day and age of eSports, which this game is striving to reach into the MLG sce...

Really irks me that this game got such good reviews, 8's and up, when for over the first month it was completely broken. The bugs and glitches in this game are still there and it makes the entire experience a poor one.

As trash of a game that I think CoD is, in Activisions defense if people keeping throwing money at them why should they stop doing it. They are making money hand over fist with little to no changes on their part. If it ain't broke don't fix it. While the game is broke, the model still makes them tons of money. Sad but true.

When consumers start voting with the 1 thing that matters to these companies, money, these companies will be forced to sing a different tune. Unti...

This looks interesting, and I could see myself one day getting it. That being said I think if I did purchase it that I would do it in a second or third generation version of it. This coming from someone who buys new generations of consoles on day 1.

I say this because this tech is pretty new and while it is cool there isn't anything like it out there which means real innovation in its style, weight, look, and features probably won't come until that 2nd or 3rd generati...

Proper capitalism will win the end, if consumers actually vote with their wallets. The sad part is people aren't willing to, for a lack of better word, sacrifice, momentarily for a bigger gain.

Any company who is willing to put in awful pricing tiers with crappy data limits should see their customer base dwindle. These companies will break when they aren't making money. Netflix bled customers when they proposed separating their digital and DVD distribution into 2 busi...

Dude, have a bubble. Best comment I've read on this site in awhile. Someone still has common sense.

They've been making shitty knock off consoles and hand helds for years. It isn't that they don't have the ability or know how to do it, its that their Government restricts and censors them so much that they can't.

4463d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

It isn't even the fact that they can't afford it. The Government won't let them have it (prior to this announcement). The censorship in China is off the charts.

That statement is complete fail in itself. I can still play the games I want where I want. I don't have the government choosing for me. The mere fact that there is huge indie support on both the primary gaming consoles makes your argument void. China outright banned Battlefield 4.

@Irishguy95

I can choose which console I want to play on or not at all. If I don't like their setup I can play on Origin, or Steam or iOs/Android devices if I want, the poin...

Yup. China's gaming is so awesome, definately something to look forward to. I mean, they are all enjoying Battlefield 4 right...

Oh wait the Government decides what you can play.

Only if we let them. At some point gamers/consumers will wise up and stop buying bullshit that doesn't deserve their money. When that happens there will be a bit of a bust in the gaming industry but the consumer will win in the end and asshole companies like EA can stop shafting us.

Yeah I think he jumped the gun, or just used a poor word. Keeping my PS3 wasn't a real option for me as I just don't have a lot of time to game. I knew why I was getting the PS4 and what I would be playing on it before I got it.

My comment was to note how awesome it is that a game like Bioshock Infinite was included with PS+.

4474d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Wasn't stupid for me. My statement was for those who either consider getting PS+ and haven't yet, or just simply to show how good the program is. I've been a PS+ subscriber since the day it became available and I love it.

I don't have time for consoles, let alone to game as much as I would like throughout the week. Upgrading to the PS4 was a big deal for me because of what I wanted to play, and while I will miss the current opportunity to play some games, the ...

Bioshock Infinite for PS3 is pretty huge. I got rid of my PS3 when I upgraded to the PS4.

I'm thinking more along the lines of months after release, or used at some point so they don't get my money.

I'll never purchase another Battlefield game on release again. EA/DICE have lost that business.

Gamers aren't ignored. When gamers don't buy games, sales suffer, and when sales suffer, stocks suffer.

We just need to vote with our wallets better.

In the mid eighties it wasn't nearly as easy to make large complaints like it is now. Gamers today have a much easier way to reach the publishers and developers than before.

Instead, developers and publishers also knew they had 1 real chance to release their games. If the game was to broken, buggy, or glitchy it was almost guaranteed that their next game wouldn't sell well. They had to make it right, or as right as they could, the first time. There was no day 1 patch....
