being an 360 owner, even i have to wonder, how in the hell did the fit the game, which i'm sure is huge, with all those hours of cutscens, onto a reg DVD?
how do you go about buying a game? word of mouth? the pretty game cover? you get a feeling its going to be good? .....seriously how?
you want to make an INFORMED decision, your BEST bet is going to metacritic.com, that has the combined average score of reviews from websites/magazines with the links so you can go and read them.

I'm not the only one KID that tends to listen to reviews from respectable magazines/websites, and being metacritic combines them all is a great tool to make an INFORMED decision like to purchase/rent. Why do you think Lair failed to sell to miserably? because of reviews KID.

your right, it doesn't need it, but the people will be buying the ps3 over 360 because of the added blu-ray.
they need a cheap add-on, like at the sub $200 price. Even if it doesn't sell, it still gives gamers the choice to play 360's AAA exclusive games and play blu-ray if wanted. The longer they wait, the more sales they will lose. I already know a handful of people that are buying the ps3 because of blu-ray

besides your opinion, the rest of the world doesn't agree. Call of Duty 4 IMO has the best graphics on consoles for 2007 and it won many awards for graphics and many GOTY awards, as did Bioshock. (not close to as many as COD4)
Uncharted and HS didn't win any awards and rarely ever even got nominated.

would you give it a rest with uncharted already. It is NOT the defining game for PS3. I'm sure ps3 will have some great exclusive AAA games, but uncharted is not the one KID.

maybe you should be comparing RFOM to Xbox 360's other launch title, and also 2005 GOTY, Call of Duty 2.

no matter what anyone says, the 360 is more than due for a price cut, especially now that blu-ray won the format war and the blu/PS3 is priced cheaper than the xbox elite!!, and after being 2 years on the market, a measly price cut of $50 isn't enough.
MS needs to be competitive like Sony, that did TWO $100 price cuts in its first year. Yes, Sony might lose mone...

its not that i just agree, its just the facts, "Halo is one of the greatest franchises in history. The broken records and high ratings prove it."
the Halo 3 release last year is the biggest release ever for a video game shattering all kinds of sales records. The whole world was talking about Halo that day. There is no other game that has generated that kind of hype.
i'm hoping the Peter Jackson's holo episodes are the next big thing...and i doubt it will be released this year.
probably next year to make it the must have hyped up game for holiday 2009. Same as Halo 3 was the game to own for 2007, and this year Gears of War 2 will be the must have game for this holiday coming up..

if this is true, sonyfans gotta admit, xbox has sure come a long way from the days when Halo was considered the only good exclusive game associated with xbox. And the line-up for 08 is looking sweet!!

if you have a ps3, you buy the ps3 version at amazon. No need to pay more than the 360 version.
if you have both a ps3/360, you buy the 360 version. simple as that.
1. MS is offering 400 free MS points
2. Exclusive DLC
3. 95% of multi-plat games run better on the 360 whether its the visuals, framerate, or online. Thats just a fact.

as for GTA4, 3 things to consider.
1. you preorder 360 version,you get 400 MS points
2. 360 version has the exclusive DLC
3. since you own both PS3/360, shouldn't you at least wait for the reviews? there is a trend lately, you know, the one where pretty much every multi-plat game runs better on the 360. whether it be better visuals, online, or framerate. Too many games to put out a list, but it is a FACT.
here we go... the "red light" a.k.a. RROD jokes... you guys gotta sneak it in every chance you get huh?
well, in my case, i bought mine from best buy with their warrenty.
i traded my sh*t in just to get the HDMI output.... but they took out the free games.
p.s. we still the exclusive DLC :)
