i'm assuming you already have your ps3, and the rest of us on this site have our 360/ps3, so what does this bundle do for you?
if your really a GTA fan and you dont have a 360, your going to be missing out.
6 months to the date after ps3 version was released.... cause Sony bought 6 months exclusive rights.
great game.... being i was a big fan of the first one made me really appreciate the second one even more. hope they make a third, but judging by the sales....i doubt it. :(
how bout this for a new sku:
Xbox elite that has a blue ray drive (just for movies obviously) and incude one classic controller and one Zii controller with sensor bar.
that really would be the ultimate next gen system.
people that own a 360 but dont own a Wii will get this.

in case you hadn't noticed, MS has changed its image drastically.
remember when the only it was only Xbox and Halo, and Halo and Xbox...lke it had no other games?
but with the 360, fact is that it has not only the largest but also the most diverse and highest rated game library available. It managed to get many RPG, RTS, Sony exclsuives to go multi-plat, New AAA exclusive IP's.... i think MS has done enough to change its image as far as software, its the hardware now th...

your wrong... ps2 was king because of the casual market, and thats why the wii is winning now. Attracting the hardcore market makes sense the first couple of years with a next gen console and a high price tag, but now MS is in a position to drop the price to a mass market sweet spot price, (arcade $199)

copy the wiimote w/sensor bar and sell it cheap with a game like X-sports.
So many rumers these days about Xbox 360....
so...if all the rumors are true, they will have a system that has the benifits of ps3 (bluray) and the benifits of Wii (wiimote) and a good cheap price (price drop)
you gotta admit... IF this is all true, you gotta admit, MS sure is trying real hard to appeal to everyone!!...

xbox has another halo, is in another critically acclained blockbuster game with mass appeal.
i can just imagine the hype now.... its Halo 3 all over again.
Being that MGS4 and GTA4 are coming out this spring, Gears will be the must have game this holiday season.
good to see Sonyfans aren't on this thread talking the usual talk. UE cant handle more than 4 charecters, dark colors, no storyline, etc. etc.

I think this will be the most hyped up game this year, and second best seller (GTA4 #1) for the year.
MS will hype this just like halo 3 last year....
with toys, novels, big-budget movie in the works, and a Gears dew :)
Definitely my most wanted game this year!! The online is seriously addicting, the only game i take it personal when I lose...probably because its 4 on 4.

facts are facts, you can go to gameranking or metacritic and see for yourself. At this point, the 360 has much much better exclusives and multi-plat running better on the 360 is the norm these days.
Get over it already.
Maybe things will change by the end of this year....or maybe they wont.

kudos to Sony. They know how to advertise and build up hype, that why they won the format war, and at this pace they can win the console war too.
i am definitely pro Xbox 360, but they just keep dropping the ball.
GTA4 with its exclusive content is supposed to be HUGE for xbox, you advertise that to the consumers, throw in a bundled sku, and drop the price on current sku's and they can get that momentum back.

big deal.... so ps3 gets another port from the superior 360 version, thats pretty much the norm these days and ps3 gamers should be used to it by now.

i read the backstory to the previous games in some magazine not too long ago, and it just seemed confusing... like a dragged out soap opera.
but game looks awesome, should be ps3 best game.

Gears 2 will be the Halo 3 of 2008.
all the kiddies in school are gonna want it for xmas...
its the follow up to 2006 GOTY...
movie, toys, books add hype...who knows maybe a Gears Dew and other endorsements....
the game just screams mass appeal for the mass audience with the 360 finally at a mass market price.
i think its a smart move if they do this.
ps3 having blu-ray is a huge advantage, i already know a couple of people that wanted a 360 but changed their minds because ps3 has blu-ray.
ms giving consumers the choice for blu-ray is what it needs...
unless there is a price drop right before the gta release.
