what stickers are you referring to??
when you rent a game from blockbuster, they give you a clean disk and a blockbuster case. if you want to keep the game, the give you the original case. simple as that.
maybe your talking about getting used games that have the used sticker on it.
if/when I end up keeping a game, i just go back to the blockbuster store i rented it from i tell them i'm gonna keep it, and they give me the original case back.
i've done it MANY times, and got alot of my friends into doing it too.
i always rent my games at blockbuster, and if i like them i just keep em.
does everyone here know that you pay for a 2 week rental from blockbuster for a game, after 2 weeks they automatically charge your credit card for the game, BUT if you return the game before one month after they have charged you then they credit your credit card back minus $1.25 storage fees.
in short, i rent a game and keep it for 45 days and then just return it.
i am definitely looking forward to this game....
and its GREAT to know i have a 360 :)

yes great games, great Sony exclusives.
but the game to receieve the most hype and will sell more than any sony exclusive this year is without a doubt Gears of War 2.

as much as i love my 360, its hard to recommend to casual gamers because the 40gig ps3/blu-ray is at a very comparable price.

there obviously was a shortage, and now that the 360 is in stock again, not even a blu-ray victory or a proven AAA Sony exclusive game like GT can help sell enough ps3's to beat the 360.

its plain as day to see PS3 is being used as a blu-ray player. if your a casual gamer, you buy the wii, if your a hardcore gamer, you buy the 360 and the GAMES for the 360

xbox = didn't own the design, but reliable hardware, needed more AAA games,
xbox 360 = own the design, unreliable hardware, has the most and highest rated AAA exclusive games,
NEXT XBOX ? = own the design, reliable hardware, continue having great AAA games.

people forget, Gears blew everyone away when first seen.
it won multiple GOTY awards and best graphics.
the is CLEARLY Epic's bread and butter now, especially how UT3 sold.
expect them to push their baby, UE3 to puch graphics much better than what was seen, not only to make Gears graphically superior than what is out there, but also because it will convince more devolpers to use/buy their engine for future games.
never a good reason to preorder for two reasons:
1. games dont tend to sell out like consoles.
2. i usually look at the deals for the week of release, all the big stores usually compete and offers extras if you buy the game at their store. ex. when i bought call of duty 4 at circuit city they gave me cod3 for free. when i bought r6v2 at circuit city they game me a bunch of extras, toys are us gave me mario galexy with $25 gift card.
