xbox 1 dominated over all multiplat games and it was always clearly evident. This should be the same for the ps3 since it was released a year later.
but, i still laugh when i think about all the sonyfans in full fanboy force the day the first review came out for GTA4. so many comments about the ps3 power and etc., etc., hahaha...
i would think ps3 wins april because of GT and some loyal ps2 fans waiting to upgrade for GTA4.
but all in all, i think xbox 360 has a better strategy.
because if its true that this fall 360 will have a sku with internal blu-ray, and a game that includes the Newton wii-like controller, and price drops on current skus with the new Jasper insides...
then they will be covering all angles.
The blu-ray wouldn't be used to games so they can make an xbox blu3...

in other words, no HOME for 2008 and Sony was full of horsesh!t when they announced it back in april 07 saying it will be available for Fall 07. How in the hell can you be off by TWO years unless you were deliberately lying to the public..... but i doubt Sony's PR would do that :)

Halo 3 is far from being the second best selling game ever, and GTA4 is not the best selling game ever either.
On the 360 Halo 3 still holds the title for best selling game though.

i've never been a GTA fan, so thank god i rented this one.
judging by the reviews i was convinced i was going to like it, but aside from the graphics NOT being a 10 like most reviewers said they were, the gameplay is repetitive, the drving isn't that great, and contolling Niko isn't that great either.....although the story is interesting and funny so far.
but i can see why people like it. I'm only 18%, so I plan to go at least 40% to make a true judgement call on...
this is exactly what the 360 needs!!!
This is a proven franchise, and one that can compete against the Mario's and Rachet of other platforms.
after reading some posts, its just hard to understand why someone would choose the ps3 version if they have both consoles.... knowing 360 was the lead platform and the DLC.

really? being that GTA was ps2 best selling franchise and it got whooped by 360 sales, and only sold about 2 million,
i HIGHLY doubt MGS4 is going to sell 8 million and to even consider it you must be smoking some good crack. i mean with an installed base of well over 100 million, MGS3 couldn't even reach 4 million sales. So how in the hell fo you think an installed base of only 11 million ps3 owners are going to buy 8 million copies?!!?! you gotta lay pff the pipe KID!

its pretty safe to bet a price drop aimed at the mass market is coming by fall 08 along with the new jasper insides. This is MS biggest advantage over Sony, PRICE. It always has been and always will be.
IF the rumors of a blu 360 coming this fall, then MS just took Sony's biggest and main advantage away from them. Since the blu-ray would just be used for movies, it wouldnt affect games and give people a choic...
