That would be a let down of comically epic proportions if it turned out that was the ‘big surprise’

I happily played games 640x480 is the 90s...doesn’t mean I want to go back to it now I have 4k.
I stopped playing because of the awful performance. Panning the camera was like stuttery slow motion. Figured I’d play it on ps5...and now with this announcement I’m can play it on pc at full max settings. Lucked out.

Switch is amazing but it’s mid generational cycle, sales will slow down inevitably. Ps5 and Xbox have a huge amount of pent up demand. I would expect stock to return second half of 2021 and from September to December you will see a huge push of those consoles.
When the next gen stock is plentiful and the true next gen games start to flow then no, Nintendo won’t dominate. They won’t even be able to take part in the contest as switch will be completely incapable of running mainstream next gen releases.
Because for £450 you get an incredible amount of performance for the price in a simple easy to use no hassle box. Turn it on and play. And there are still plenty of exclusives not on PC and I’m sure there will continue to be.
Agreed. This stock issues are a joke and meanwhile they are busy releasing more models for people not to be able to buy.
I would have preferred more focus on the single player campaign and no multiplayer at all. This game just doesn’t suit it or need it.
Been waiting for PS5 update before playing this. 60fps should be the standard for all PS5 games...or at least the option for reduced visuals/resolution in exchange for it.
My fear is that once games are produced for the PS5 generation exclusively we will be back to choppy 30fps again (albeit with next gen visuals).
I just struggle to go back to 30fps personally.
I’m playing through this at the moment. It’s a bit mixed for me. The ray tracing, particle effects and destructible environments are fantastically good. The lore is also great.
But I find the level traversal is a real chore. Spent far too much time wandering about trying to get to a point on the map and feeling lost and frustrated. I’ve got stuck a lot more than on other games as well.
Great high points but the games doesn’t flow nicely.
I rarely buy games at launch. It’s not worth the new release prices. With the sheer volume of games out there I’m never short of something to play.
I’ll be getting this for sure...in 6-12 months time.
I don’t play games to prove how clever or skilled I am. Set the difficulty to where the challenge feels good for you.
Play games for fun. Do whatever makes them most enjoyable.
If the difficulty means your not having fun you are literally wasting time playing like that.
Everyone loves to hate them..but it seems a lot of people are still playing their games regardless.
They are formulaic for sure but I still enjoy Assassins creed, watchdogs and far cry franchises.
Sigh. Is it too soon to start looking forward to a PS5 pro that can hit 60fps in 4k with ray tracing turned on? I just hate compromises. I know makes me a spoilt child and all that.
Bit harsh on nvidia this headline. The global semi conductor issues affect everyone....no PS5s, Xboxes or AMD cards about either.
My beef with Nvidia is that the low vram on the 3080 and ridiculously expensive overkill of ram on the 3090 makes both cards appealing (as a 2080ti owner). Both cards miss the sweet spot for me.
Hope they release the 3080ti soon.
Good. Sick of seeing pictures on eBay of piles of ps5 boxes sat at some scalpers house offered as ‘new’ consoles for the ‘reduced’ price of £700.
Playing origins and odyssey and they are hugely bloated with repetitive activities. They would better games if they took 20 hours repetition and cookie cutter locations out for a cleaner more streamlined experience
More is not alway best.
Maybe not ports exactly but how about a next gen patch for GTA V...just a little mini project.
