With games this gen launching at £60 I hope free tasters or demos or whatever you want to call them become common place. I hesitate to spend that much on a purchase unless I have tried it for myself and seen it with my own eyes first.
The game interests me but not enough to risk a £60 purchase on. Was a little worried about the poor performance on both ps5 and pc versions as I’m not a fan of choppy frame rates at all. I’ll give both a go and judge first hand.

Sony never promised that and not even an RTX 3090 - a £1400 GPU - can hit 4k 60fps on all new releases without compromising settings.
I’d be happy with 1440p 60fps or 4k 30fps. Happy medium between graphics quality and performance. To hit native 4k at 60fps keeps graphics in the last gen era. I think that’s too much of a compromise.
Completely agree. Remaster the original games then I would follow up with a Resistance 4. One of my favourite games from the PS3 era.
Would be well suited to an open world shooter.
I just can’t get into the idea of streaming games. No replacement for having your own hardware at home.

Let the game take as long as it needs to. You only get one shot an initial launch and if you mess it up it’s very hard to recover. Just as Hello games or CDPR.
Higher res screens, higher quality graphics and new custom controller and we will be in business I’d say.
There is a very big difference between hammering video games at the complete and total expense of all else and playing video games a couple hours a day as a way to de-stress and give respite from thinking about your problems.

There is one reason...if you are lucky enough to have a high end PC you will get a better version of that game.
You have think that longer term Bethesda’s games will become Xbox/PC exclusives.
What all this tells me is that the perfect gaming setup is a PC and PS5. This should give the best of all worlds.
What you mean is ‘I don’t like Horizon’ which is not the same as ‘Horizon is not a masterpiece’.
I don’t like Bloodborne but I recognised it’s a masterpiece of its genre.
I cannot understand where the horizon and TLOU2 patches are....I would have expected them to be among the very first rather than say Days Gone (as welcome as that was).
Be nice if the 3090 could do just Cyberpunk in 4k ray tracing at a solid 60fps...never mind the rest of it.
There were so many nods to Alan Wake in Control that I’m fairly certain it will be Alan Wake 2.

A lot of my old pc physical disks no longer work due to comparability issues. If old is your thing better gog patched and fixed versions. Unless you like tinkering of course...then have fun

My single biggest wish this new gen is 60fps as an option in all games. Going back to 30 is like going back to 1080p after you’ve got used to 2k/4k.
Hope this is the magic sauce to get the consoles over the line.
Getting banned by steam was the best thing that could have happened for this game. Huge load of free publicity for a game that would otherwise have released entirely unnoticed and been quickly forgotten.
